The sugar-producing of China ranked third in the world.Currently,the mechanization of harvesting sugar cane is less than 1%in China,but the labor costs of harvesting sugar cane is growing.Therefore,it is imminent to develop a small sugar cane harvester suitable for hilly areas in China.This paper relies on the project of scientific and technical personnel serving enterprise of Ministry of Science and Technology,cooperating with Guangxi Qinzhou Lishun Machinery Co.,Ltd.,and aims to develop a small sugar cane harvester suitable for hilly areas.For the problems of transmission system of original prototype,designing a hydraulic system suitable for small sugar cane harvester by theoretical analysis,simulation and experimental research.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:1.For the problems of cutter stuck,blockage of logistics channel,inconvenience of speed adjustment of leaves-stripped system and lack of drive capacity of walking system,find out the defect of transmission system of original prototype and propose solutions.2.Based on the results of analysis of the problems of transmission system of the original prototype,combined with the actual working conditions and requirements of every working part of small sugar cane harvester,and to meet the requirements under the premise,considering energy efficiency,economy,integration,installation space and so on,redesign the hydraulic system of small sugar cane harvester.3.Simulate the re-designed hydraulic system with AMESim software,and establish the simulation model of small sugar cane harvester.According to the results of simulation analysis,evaluate the working performance of hydraulic system of small sugar cane harvester,and verified the theoretical analysis and simulation model.4.By the method of experimental study,assemble the re-designed hydraulic system on the sugar cane harvester manufactured by Guangxi Qinzhou Lishun Machinery Co.,Ltd.After the assembly,debug the hydraulic system,and test its ability to meet the design requirements.Monitor the dynamic characteristic of motors at the time of starting,no-load operation and braking with pressure sensor and supporting hardware and software.And at the time of simulation and fields experiment,monitor the pressure changes of motors,and verify the theoretical and simulation analysis.It can provide a reference for the follow-up design of transmission system of small sugar cane harvester.
