The ripper's work quality and overpass performance can not be assured during subsoiling because of the mass covering of sugarcane leaves in conservation tillage.It is important to develop a kind of ripper suitable for red loam area of southern China sugarcane area in conservation tillage.A new ripper of sugarcane leaves covering field was designed for meeting to the requirements of subsoiling technical.Separate technology of anti-blocking was used to make a separating leaves device in ripper of sugarcane leaves covering field by the theoretical analysis and experimental analysis.It was concluded that the ripper of sugarcane leaves covering field with well performance could separate sugarcane leaves,loose the deep soil and produce a suitable soil environment for sugarcane growth.Firstly,a chisel-shape deep-shovel for red loam in southern sugarcane area was designed to the decrease adhesion amounts of red loam and the reduce traction resistance.By analyzing the force condition of deep-shovel in the red loam,the value range of structure parameters which had effects on the traction resistance was confirmed.Some inherent rules influence law between the deep-shovel,such as angle of penetration???,angle of share shaft cutting edge???,thickness of share shaft???,width of share shaft side?B2?with mathematic numerical were found out by the study after taking orthogonal test with multi-factors and multi-levels.The results showed that the traction resistance was 10.16kN under the best structural parameter combination was?of 40°,?of 60°,?of 40mm,B2 of 100mm.At the same time,the method of virtual prototyping and finite element analysis were used to determine the key structure and parameters.It was indicated that the ripper for sugarcane leaves covering field with good dynamic static performance met the design requirements.Afterwards,single-factor experiments were carried out to obtain the value ranges of leaves separating disk declination??1?,leaves separating disk dip??2?,and locomotive velocity?V?.The important order of affecting synthetically mark was?1,?2,V.The regression models which were based on the rate of leaves separating?y1?and traction resistance?y2?were established by the experimental method of quadratic orthogonal rotating combination design with three factors and five levels.Response Surface Methodology?RSM?experimental design was carried out in which the effects of leaves separating disk declination,leaves separating disk dip,and locomotive velocity on the rate of leaves separating and traction resistance were studied.It was found that the optimal parameter combination was?1 of 38°,?2 of 15°,V of 3km·h-1 through parameter optimization,and under this condition,the rate of leaves separating and traction resistance was 90.6%,12.09kN.Finally,field experiment on the whole machine was executed to verify the working performances and operational effectiveness.The results indicated that the stability coefficient of subsoiling depth was 98.79%,the rate of leaves separating was 83.2%,the traction resistance was reduced 12.2715.36%.It was pointed out that ripper for sugarcane leaves covering field has excellent performance on subsoiling and anti-blocking.This study has lain the foundation for further research on the ripper for southern sugarcane area with red loam in conservation tillage.
