Investigation On Resources Of Bombax Ceiba In Chongzuo City And Evaluation On Application

Bombax ceiba also called red kapok?hero tree,is the Bombacaceae of Bombax,deciduous tree,straight trunk and stand nearly 10-25 meters high.Wild Bombax ceiba in Chongzuo City within a wide range of distribution,is one of the most common landscape trees in Chongzuo city.Chongzuo city government payed great attention to the construction of Bombax ceiba culture,in January 2005,the Chongzuo City third session of the National People's Congress decided to set the Bombax ceiba as city flower,symbol Chongzuo City people's vigorous,warm heroic.It is very important significance to investivate Bombax ceiba resources in Chongzuo for find out Chinese Bombax ceiba resources,and it also provides scientific theoretic basis and practical guidance for protection and utilization.Through the field investigation,the distribution range of Bombax ceiba resources is analyzed,and the Bombax ceiba resources reserves,geographical distribution pattern and flora type are analyzed in detail.The development and utilization value of Bombax ceiba is analyzed by means of analytic hierarchy process,case analysis method and literature review method,and the present situation of production and utilization of Chongzuo Bombax ceiba is analyzed.The main results are as follows:(1)Through this survey,6741 villages(towns)of 7 counties(cities,districts)of Chongzuo City are divided into Bombax ceiba,the coverage rate is 100%.There are 360599 strains of Bombax ceiba,of which 204619 are wild Bombax ceiba,occupies 56.7%;155940 are cultivated,occupies 43.3%.803 strains' DBH are more than 80cm,of which there are 180 trees are old trees and famous wood,the max DBH is up to 223cm,the largest age is 536 years.(2)The evaluation index system of Chongzuo Bombax ceiba resources development and utilization is established by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP).121 strains of Bombax ceiba are evaluated synthetically,of which 12 are in grade ? and 21 in grade ? and 20 in grade ?.(3)This paper analyzes the application of the landscape effect of Bombax ceiba in the transformation of Chongzuo Longzhou wetland park as an example.It analyzes and summarizes the application value of Bombax ceiba fiber with high textile application value.And establish the table of medicinal part?medicinal efficacy and usage of Bombax ceiba.(4)Summarize the questions in the application in Chongzuo city,offer suggestions to make progress in the development and application of Bombax ceiba.
