| Ancient and famous trees are gems of forest resources and precious heritage stayed by nature and predecessors.For witnessing social and cultural history,they are called "living fossil" and "live cultural relic" and getting high and important value of history,culture,ecology,tourism,scientific research and economy.Located in the southwest border of the motherland,Chongzuo owns superior climatic conditions,rich species and colorful ancient and famous trees.It is of great significance for the protection and sustainable utilization of ancient and famous tree to evaluate comprehensive values and investigate resource in Chongzuo city.This paper will firstly quantitatively analyze the current situation of ancient and famous trees in Chongzuo city,including the types and quantity,distribution of different regions and the age characteristics.After comprehending related domestic and international research and evaluation methods,here it use the analytic hierarchy process,building acquired index system of ancient and famous trees,comprehensively evaluating ancient and old trees above level 1.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Chongzuo City currently owns 15,697 ancient and famous trees,including 15,690 ancient trees,7 famous trees,9492 in groups,and 6205 are solitary individuals.Most of the ancient and famous trees grow in the outer countryside.Classified by ancient trees,the city has 26 special ancient trees,137 first-class ancient trees,562 old second-class trees,and 14,970 third-class ancient trees.The ancient and famous trees of the city belong to 37 families,71 genera and 99 species.The family with the highest number of species is Moraceae;the genera with the highest number of species are Ficus;and the largest number of trees is Camellia drupifera Lour.The distribution of ancient and famous trees in all counties(cities,districts)of the city is also quite different.The ancient and famous trees in Pingxiang City(county-level city)are the most widely distributed,accounting for 58.04%of the total amount of the city,while the number of ancient and famous trees in Tiandeng County is the least.It accounted for 2.44%of the city's total.There are 26 ancient and famous old trees in the city with tree age over 1000 years.There are 137 in 500-999 years,562 in 300-499 years,and 14970 in 100-299 years.60.04%of the city's ancient and famous trees are owned by individuals,27.85%are collectively owned,11.74%are state-owned,and 0.37%ownership is relatively vague.It is tentatively classified as other types to be determined.As for the follow-up resources of ancient trees,there are 2083 trees-to be ancient in the city,belonging to 64 species of 53 genera in 27 families.Some of the ancient and famous trees have unique cultural connotations.In the survey combining the characteristics of the ancient the famous trees are divided into four categories:the king of old trees,the ancient tree charm,the ancient tree wonders,and the famous wood tracking.(2)In the acquired index system,the indicators can be arranged as follows in order of weight:Historical witness(0.2838)>position(0.1707)>folk literature and art(0.1419)>biodiversity(0.0889)>artistic conception(0.0717)>scientific research and science(0.071)timber value(0.0508)>forest product value(0.0254)>growth potential(0.0146).It can be seen that the experts pay more attention to the historical witness value of ancient and famous trees,which is in line with most people's understanding of the value of ancient and famous trees.Position,folk literature and art,biodiversity,artistic conception,scientific research and science,timber value,the weight coefficientof these indicators is decreasing in descending order with a small difference.Forest product value and growth potential are at the bottom of the list,to some extent,they are not valued.(3)In order to verify the evaluation system,this study evaluated the ancient and famous trees above the level 1 of Chongzuo city as the evaluation object,and the evaluation result is as follows:? level(>3.5),a total of 10 strains;II level(2.5-3.5),a total of 68 strains;? level(1.5-2.5),a total of 84 strains;There are 1 plants under 1.5 in the comprehensive evaluation.The result of scoring can be used as a reference for protection and utilization,and it should give priority protection to the ancient and famous trees with higher scores.(4)Through the investigation and research on the protection and utilization of ancient and famous trees in Chongzuo City,four problems have been discovered:the awareness of conservation of ancient and famous trees is not strong enough,the responsibility for management and protection is not clear,funding is insufficient,and talents are lacking.Based on the existing problems,some preliminary suggestions are made:strengthening propaganda and raising awareness of protection;implementing conservation responsibilities,strengthening protection and management;increasing capital investment and providing strong guarantees;strengthening scientific research and building talent teams. |
