In order to push the development of national grain storage system towards networking and intelligence,improve the granary monitoring efficiency,maximumly reduce the loss of grain in stored procedures,a scheme of intelligent granary monitoring system is proposed in this paper,which can collect such information as humidity,temperature,gas concentration and rats of granary,achieving monitoring the granary in real time all the day.The administrator can also get the granary information through the monitoring results to make the relevant decision timely.Firstly,this paper gives an overview of the topic background and the research status at home and abroad,analyze the application and development trend of sensor technology and networking technology in grain monitoring,and completes general design of the system.The hardware begins with the ZigBee wireless sensor network,designed ZigBee terminal node module and coordinator,including the power supply circuit,minimum system circuit,capture module circuit,control module circuit and serial interface circuit.Besides,the ARM gateway use the core module of the ARM Cortex-A8 to realize the communication between the ZigBee wireless LAN and extranet,this interface is also reserved for the future functional extension design.Secondly,software starts the design work based on layers of the data capture,ARM gateway and application management(including Linux server and client),and determine the platform and software design of each layer.The data capture layer describe the process that ZigBee coordinator form network and terminal node join in it,and introduce the design of the applications of this part.ARM gateway layer,combined with multi threading,concurrent processing ZigBee LAN and Internet data request.The linux server introduce the TCP/IP protocol and sqlite3 database interface to provide services to users,processing and store related data.The client determine the framework of the client based on the functional requirements,emphatically design and realize the main monitoring modules of client.Finally,system tests start with the function and performance.Repeated test shows that the system is feasible,functions of intelligently monitoring the granary are available,the system is stable and reliable and has certain practical application value.
