Our country is a big agricultural country with more people and less land.The regional distribution of water resources uneven,water and land resources is not balanced.The existing irrigation area is nearly 877 million acres of farmland irrigation facilities,arable land accounts for 48%of the country,but at the same time its food production accounted for 75%of the country's total grain output.With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization,agricultural water has been diverted,of which 90%of agricultural water used for farmland irrigation,so improving irrigation water efficiency has become the key to saving water resources.Meanwhile,the efficiency of using the irrigation water is an important index to evaluate the water use status and benefits of irrigation districts,and is an important decision-making basis for water planning and irrigation water management of agricultural departments.The correct evaluation of irrigation water use efficiency can provide a scientific theoretical basis for water-saving irrigation and sustainable development in irrigation districts.In this paper,On the basis on our country agriculture water and irrigation water status and analysis of the relevant research at home and abroad the irrigation water efficiency,with the help of the irrigation water use efficiency factor to characterize irrigation water efficiency,calculation and evaluation of Irrigation District of Jiangxi Province in 2016,the effective utilization coefficient of irrigation water and the influence factors are quantitatively analyzed.The spatial distribution characteristics of irrigation water use efficiency in Jiangxi irrigation area were also analyzed,the main research contents are as follows:(1)On account of the statistics of Jiangxi province sample irrigation districts based on data,using initial and ending calculation estimates the irrigation water use efficiency factor both in different irrigation areas of Jiangxi Province and the whole province.The quantitative analysis of the factors such as topography,soil texture,water supply,engineering benefit and water conservancy investment,which can improve the irrigation water use efficiency factor,was carried out.(2)In terms of spatial distribution characteristics of the irrigation water use efficiency factor in the whole province,Principal component analysis was used to extract the main driving factors affecting the change of irrigation water use efficiency factor.Then,the regional differences of driving coefficient of irrigation water use efficiency factor were studied by using the method of system clustering.According to the principal factor analysis,the driving factors of irrigation water use efficiency factor can be summed up as irrigation factors and natural endowment factors.There is a negative correlation between irrigation factor and irrigation water use efficiency factor,and natural endowment factor is weakly related to effective utilization coefficient of irrigation water.(3)The irrigation area was classified by cluster analysis,using ArcGIS to draw the contour map of irrigation water use efficiency factor to analyze the change trend in spatial distribution in Jiangxi irrigation area.And combined with the present situation of effective utilization coefficient of irrigation water in Jiangxi Province,from the four aspects of engineering measures,technical measures,management measures and policy measures,this paper provides effective suggestions for improving the irrigation water use efficiency factor in Jiangxi irrigation area.
