Shandong province crosses over about four degree of latitudes mutually from the south to north about seven longitudes from the east to west. Mostly part belongs to moist region, and a small part belongs to dry region, so the region is different greatly. The water resources and the rainfall distribute unbalance on the region, distributing decreases from the southeast coast to the west north inland. The province hinterland form is complicated, and the geography type is diverse. The landform includes mountainous country, mound, plain, lake, and marsh land, among them, the plain area has about 50.4%, the hillock area has about 37.6%, and the lake marsh land has 12%. The economic is different in different regions of the province. The different natural condition, economic condition, the water resources condition and the economy development level in Shandong province, come to an imbalance and the variance for agriculture irrigation of Shandong province, and can't "a knife slice". In order to know the water-saving potential of agriculture irrigation, the water-saving development programming and the water irrigation technique development direction etc, it is essential to research on dividing of agriculture irrigation of Shandong province.This thesis carries on investigating analysis to the landform-physiognomy, weather characteristic, water resources circumstance, agriculture irrigation of in Shandong province, and selects a method which combined the Principal Component Analysis Method and the Clustering Analysis by comparing with the other Dividing methods. Based on the dividing irrigation zone, this thesis gets the relative water-saving potential. Main research the contents is as follows:(1) The development process of agriculture irrigation and the present condition of water-saving irrigation in Shandong Province. By investigating the natural circumstance, the water resources circumstance and the development process of agriculture irrigation, and carrying the research on the present condition of water-saving irrigation, we chalk up the existent problem of agriculture irrigation in Shandong province, and it shows that it has greatly water-saving potential in agriculture irrigation, but we should carry on a research according to the circumstance of the different city. (2) Make sure a method which combined the Principal Component Analysis Method and the Clustering Analysis by comparing with the other Dividing methods. By researching on the internal structure among the influence factors in the dividing irrigation zone, we can find several integrated indexes instead of primary indexes, which is unrelated and linearity combination, and we can use of Dividing method to divide for agriculture irrigation in Shandong province. This kind of method can ease workload availably, and reserve the main information of the original index in the meantime, so that the relativity of the index each other can also weaken.(3)Aim at the concrete circumstance of province in Shandong, make sure a landform-physiognomy index sign mold piece, weather characteristic index sign mold piece, be short of water a degree index sign mold piece, infuse an area type index sign mold piece, agriculture structure index sign mold piece, use the water level index sign mold piece and the economic level index sign mold piece seven index sign mold pieces, including 15 irrigation agriculture cent area index signs of index sign factors. This thesis carry on this 15 index signs the quantity turn, based on the related data of six years between 2000 to 2005 in Shandong province.(4) Dividing irrigation zone in Shandong province. Make use of the Principal Component Analysis Method to make sure of the principal component, through dealing with 15 indexes by the DPS data processing system, and then make use of the Clustering Analysis to carry on the dividing zone for the agriculture irrigation. The agriculture irrigation is measured off five greatest areas in Shandong province, distinguish for: The central section hill area of Shandong (theâ… area) (include Jinan city, Zibo city, Tai-an city, Laiwu city) ; The east hill area of Shandong (theâ…¡area) (include Weifang city, Qingdao city, Yantai city, Weihai city) ; Southwest plain area of Shandong (theâ…¢area) (include Jining city, Heze city, Liaocheng city, Dezhou city) ; South mountain area of Shandong (theâ…£area) (include Rizhao city,Linyi city, Zaozhuang city) ; Northwest plain area of Shandong (theâ…¤area)(include Dongying city, Binzhou city).Through the discussion of the dividing zone, each index is basic consistent in every dividing zone, and it proves that the dividing zone is reasonable.(5)With 2000 for basis year, with 2010, 2020 and 2030 for program years, according to the development of the irrigation agriculture of province in Shandong, this thesis estimate irrigation an efficiency of water irrigation , comparison of the plant, valid irrigation acreage...etc. in programming year, and calculate the water irrigation for a programming year(2010,2020,2030). Comparing with the water irrigation of the basis year(2000), we can get the relative water-saving potential: it is 1,794,000,000 cubes between 2000 to 2010, 779,000,000 cubes between 2010 to 2020, 584,000,000 cubes between 2020 to 2030. This result explains: the relative water-saving potential reduce continuously from 2000 to 2030 in Shandong Province.
