Effects Of Different Garlic Varieties And Bulbil Seeding Directions On Growth Characteristic And Quality

Garlic is a lilium onion and garlic vegetable with high economic value and nutritive quality,which has its own characteristic spice flavor,such as seedlings of garlic,garlic bolts and bulbs.In the mechanized production of garlic,there are still some problems in the technology of controlling the orientation of the scale bud in the course of planting and sowing,but there are few reports on the effects of the bulbil seeding direction on the growth and development of garlic at present.This experiment is based on ?Cangshan caosuan‘,?Jinxiang 3‘ and?Yunnan garlic‘as the test materials,has five bulbil seeding directions with bulbil upward,bulbil tilted 45°,bulbil flat,bulbil inverted 45° and bulbil inverted,measured seedling emergence time,aboveground growth potential and underground growth attitude,plant growth,physiological quality and nutritional quality,separately.Study on the influences of different garlic varieties and bulbil seeding directions on garlic growth,physiological characteristic and quality,it is concluded that more suitable to the scale of high quality and high yield of garlic bulbil seedings directions and varieties,to provide theoretical basis for actual production and mechanization planting.The results of the study are as follows:1.The garlic with bulbil upward and tilted 45° seedling emergence time early,plant growth(plant height,pseudostem length,stem diameter,leaf number and dry weight and fresh weight of per plant)of garlic with bulbil upward and tilted 45° are the highest,bulbil flat is second,bulbil inverted 45° and inverted are minimum.The plant growth of ?Cangshan caosuan‘ and ?Jinxiang 3‘ are better under the same treatment.2.The plant chlorophyll content,net photosynthetic rate,root activity,SOD and CAT activities of garlic with bulbil upward and tilted 45° are the highest,bulbil flat is second,bulbil inverted 45° and inverted are minimum,the POD activity and MDA content of garlic with bulbil inverted 45° and inverted are the highest.The physiological qualities of ?Cangshan caosuan‘ and ?Jinxiang 3‘ are better.3.When the bulbils were upward,tilted 45 ° and put flat,the fresh weight of garlic bolting,bolting rate,length of garlic bolting,fresh weight of single garlic,cross diameter of garlic,number of allicin and index of head shape are increased in different degrees,the compreh-ensive characters are superior to other bulbil seeding directions.The comprehensive characters of garlic boltings and bulbs of ?Cangshan caosuan‘ and ?Jinxiang 3‘ are better.4.The comprehensive nutritive qualities of garlic leaves and bulbs with bulbil upward and tilted 45° are the highest,bulbil flat is second,bulbil inverted 45° and inverted are minimum.The comprehensive nutritive qualities of ?Cangshan caosuan‘ leaves and bulbs are higher.The results showed that the garlic varieties suitable for cultivation are ?Cangshan caosuan‘ and ?Jinxiang 3‘,which are suitable for garlic high quality and high yield bulbil seeding directions are bulbil upward,bulbil tilted 45° and bulbil flat.
