??ObjectiveEvaluate ability of activities of daily living and the limb movement function on stroke flaccid paralysis and spastic paralysis patients treated by acupuncture combined with rehabilitation MethodsTo meet the inclusion criteria in 45 cases of flaccid paralysis and 45 cases of spastic paralysis were randomly divided into acupuncture and rehabilitation group(the observation group), the acupuncture group(the control group),the rehabilitation group(the control group), 30 cases in each group( spastic paralysis patients and flaccid paralysis patients were all 15 cases). Given the routine drug treatment of all cases included in the study. Acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture once a day, the rehabilitation group were treated with rehabilitation once a day, acupuncture and rehabilitation group were treated with acupuncture and rehabilitation once a day. Course of treatment: all these three groups is 6 days per week, and one day's break. All of treatments are for a course of 4 weeks. Before treatment and after 1 courses of treatment(24 times) were recorded in activities of daily living scale(MBI) and limb motor function scale(FMA score).Results1.Flaccid paralysis of three groups of patients with treatment of MBI score difference between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05). The difference which The MBI scores of treatment of 24 times were compared with those before treatment is statistically significant(P<0.01).24 times after treatment, acupuncture with rehabilitation group was higher than acupuncture group and rehabilitation group in MBI mean, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), while the differences between the acupuncture and rehabilitation group had no statistical significance(P>0.05). The information presentation using acupuncture combination of rehabilitation treatment methods of flaccid paralysis patients is better than in the other two groups flaccid paralysis patients in improving the ability of activities of daily living.2. Spasm paralysis of three groups of patients with treatment of MBI score differences between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05). Afterthe treatment of 24 times the MBI scores compared with those before treatment increased, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment for24 times acupuncture with rehabilitation group compared with the acupuncture group and rehabilitation group the score was higher, which the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). while the differences between the acupuncture group and the recovery group had no statistical significance(P>0.05).These data show that, in improving the ability of patients with daily living, acupuncture combined with rehabilitation group of spastic paralysis patients is better than the other two groups of spastic paralysis patients performed.3. Flaccid paralysis of three groups of patients before treatment FMA score differences were no statistical significance(P>0.05).Groups comparison shows that the three groups after treatment for 24 times FMA scores were compared with those before treatment increased, which the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01). After the treatment of 24 times, the FMA scores of acupuncture with rehabilitation group compared with the other two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05), while differences between the acupuncture group and the rehabilitation group had no statistical significance(P>0.05).These data showed that in improving patients with limb movement, the combination of acupuncture and rehabilitation treatment of relaxation paralysis patients than in the other two groups of spasm paralysis patients improved better.4. Spasm paralysis patients before the FMA score difference had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Groups comparison was showed that three groups after 24 times of FMA scores compared with those before treatment increased, which the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).24 times after treatment, the FMA scores of acupuncture with rehabilitation group compared with other two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05), while differences between the acupuncture group and the recovery group had no significance(P>0.05).These are likely to indicate that acupuncture and rehabilitation group of spastic paralysis patients in improving the ability of limb activity than the other two groups of patients with spastic paralysis.5. Flaccid paralysis and spastic paralysis related indexes before and after treatment.Flaccid paralysis before and after treatment in patients with MBI increased value is greater than the corresponding groups of spastic paralysis before and aftertreatment in patients with MBI added value, the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.01). Flaccid paralysis before and after treatment in patients with FMA increase value is greater than the corresponding groups of spastic paralysis before and after treatment in patients with FMA added value, the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.01). This may explain the flaccid paralysis patients after treatment progress is greater than the spasm paralysis.6.Among of three groups of had no statistical significance in the MBI scores before treatment.Increased significantly after the treatment of 24 times the MBI scores of the three groups were compared with those before treatment. And acupuncture with rehabilitation group MBI score respectively compared with the other two groups had statistical significance(P<0.05), while between acupuncture group with rehabilitation group had no statistical significance(P>0.05).t can be concluded that acupuncture combined with rehabilitation group is better than acupuncture group and rehabilitation group to improve the activity of daily living.7. Each treatment of FMA scores between the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Group comparison was showed that three groups after the treatment of 24 times the scores compared with those before treatment increased, which the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The differences had statistical significance(P<0.05) with acupuncture combined with rehabilitation group compared with the other two groups while between Acupuncture group with rehabilitation group had no statistical significance(P>0.05).It can be considered that the three treatments can improve the function of the limbs of the patients, while the acupuncture combined with rehabilitation group is better than the acupuncture group and the rehabilitation group.Conclusion1. Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation of stroke flaccid paralytic and spastic paralysis patients in improving the ability of activities of daily living and limb motor function of patients was better than simple acupuncture and simple rehabilitation.2. Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation for flaccid paralysis and spasm paralysis patients in improving the ability of activities of daily living and limb movement function in the patients, flaccid paralysis compared with spastic paralysis progress may be greater.
