Objective: Here we study the effect of treatment for spastic paralysis after cerebral infarction by electric acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training,in order to prevent from the complications, reduce the sequelae, and improve the life quality. Methods: 60 cerebral infarction patients were divided into 2 groups, including electric acupuncture group with 30 cases and conventional acupuncture group with 30 cases. The two group patients'general conditions were almost identical and there was no significant difference statistically, so the two groups were comparable. Ashworth grades,Barthel index number , Fugl—Meyer grades and the whole clinical effect were used as index of judging therapeutic effect.Results:①The electric acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy can both heighten the Fugl—Meyer grades and the ADL grades. The difference has statistics significance (p<0.05).②According to Barthel index number and Fugl—Meyer grades, there is no significant difference between two groups before the therapy(p>0.05).There is statistics meaning between two groups after the therapy (p<0.05).③The electric acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy can both reduce the Ashworth grades. Conclusions: The clinical effect of electric acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on spastic paralysis after cerebral infarction is better than conventional acupuncture therapy. Electric acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training can improve the living quality effectively.
