Malnutrition is one of the hemodialysis patients's common and important complications. It is closely related to the survival rates and living quality of the patients. Malnutrition in maintenance hemodialysis patients classified as "consumptive disease" in traditional Chinese medicine.The motherland medicine thinks Chinese caterpillar fungus has the effect such as kidney, fill essence. Bioelectrical impedance analysis can accurately conduct Human body composition.It is Objective and reliable for the assessment of Malnutrition in Maintenance hemodialysis patients. Therefore, bioelectrical impedance analysis in combination with Serum biochemi-cal tests can effectively observe the herapeutic value of Chinese caterpillar fungus preparation in hemodialysis patients with Malnutrition.ObjectiveObserve the impact of Chinese caterpillar fungus preparation in hemodialysis patients'Nutritional status by bioelectrical impedance analysisMethodsRandomly choose 60 cases of hemodialysis patients and divided into two groups. The treatment group:30 cases, age 57.65±19.985years old. gender (male/female) 33/27, dialysis age 2.55±1.050years, matched group:30 cases, age 53.17+14.301years old. gender (male/ fe-male) 29/31, dialysis age3.00±1.382years. Collect clinical basic information, such as gen-der, age, dialysis age, etc. Both groups receive conventional western medicine treatment. Pa-tients. in The treatment group take the Chinese caterpillar fungus preparation three times a day five pills each. Period of treatment for six months After treatment, two groups accept bioelectrical impedance analysis and serum biochemical tests.By Contrasting the data of two groups including body cell mass, fat mass, arm circumference, protein, HGB, ALB, FER. assess two groups of patients'nutritional status, observe the impact of Chinese caterpillar fungus preparation in hemodialysis patients.Results1. There was not any difference of age among two groups. (P>0.05). There was not any difference of dialysis age among two groups. (P>0.05).2. The body cell mass of treatment group (26.390±5.3518) was higher than matched group (16.948±3.9243).There was difference among the two groups (P<0.05).3. The circumference of treatment group (28.873±2.4620) was higher than matched group (18.791±2.5907).There was difference among the two groups (P<0.05).4. The fat mass of treatment group (17.900±5.9448) was higher than matched group (18.366±7.6766). But there was no significant difference among the two groups (P>0.05).5. The protein mass of treatment group (10.255±1.5676) was higher than matched group (7.983±1.4911).There was difference among the two groups (P <0.05).6. The HGB of treatment group (110.60+5.853) was higher than matched group (96.04±6.131).There was difference among the two groups (P<0.05).7. The ALB of treatment group (43.25±3.385) was higher than matched group (37.52±2.906).There was difference among the two groups (P<0.05).8. The FER of treatment group (209.322±185.5920) was lower than matched group (247.537±182.0862).But there was no difference among the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion1. The observation group of 30 patients after treatment of bioelectrical impedance nutrition index body cells (BCM), upper arm circumference (AC), protein (PRO) than patients with 30 cases of control group;2. The observation group of 30 patients after treatment laboratory biochemical examination serological nutrition blood hemoglobin (HGB), albumin (propagated) were higher than in patients with 30 cases of control group. BCM, AC, PRO and HGB, and propagated were higher than the control group;3. The observation group of 30 patients after treatment of bioelectrical impedance nutrition indicators of body fat (FM) and biochemical laboratory examination serological nutrition indicators ferritin (FER) compared to the control group of 30 patients without obvious difference;4. The combination of bioelectrical impedance and laboratory biochemical studies two kinds of evaluation methods, prove that Chinese caterpillar fungus preparation can effectively improve nutritional status in patients with end-stage kidney disease (CKD) maintenance hemodialysis, improve the patient's serum albumin concentration, correction of renal anemia.5. Combined with bioelectrical impedance and laboratory biochemical studies two kinds of evaluation methods, oral Chinese caterpillar fungus preparation and are not found in the body fat content of maintenance hemodialysis patients have obvious correlation; Oral Chinese caterpillar fungus preparation are not found in patients with maintenance hemodialysis ferritin level have obvious correlation.
