Objectives: Clinical research of this study is to detect the change of Niaoduqing particle on uremic pruritus,calcium, phosphorus, parathyroid hormone(PTH),fibroblast growth factor 23(FGF23) in Maintenance hemodialysis Patients before and after treatment. To explore effective treatment of uremic pruritus in Maintenance hemodialysis Patients. At the same time to understand the correlation between FGF23 and calcium, phosphorus,PTH in Maintenance hemodialysis Patients.Methods: Select 42 Maintenance hemodialysis Patients who has uremic pruritus in Hemodialysis Room at Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medical from June 2014 to June 2015. Patients were given the treatment of dialysis 2-3 times a week, 4 hours a time, more than 3 months.And the composition is male 25, female 17, age at 18 years old-70 years old, average age is 51.6 years old. All patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. Patients in the control group were given basic treatment in general, the treatment group were given basic treatment plus Niaoduqing particle(Astragalus, prepared Radix Polygoni Multiflor, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, plantain, Rhubarb, Salvianolic, Cortex Mori, Sophora flavescens Ait, Radix paeoniae Alba etc.) treatment. Take it mixing with warm water, Two times a day, four intervals not more than 8 hours, discontinuation of other traditional Chinese medicine treatment. The treatment time was 1 months. The curative effect and safety of the treatment were observed intently.Main outcom measures: To process the venous blood of patients before dialysis in the morning before and after treatment. Measure the indicators of FGF23, PTH, calcium and phosphorus etc. Take a questionnaire survey on the degree of pruritus in patients before and after treatment.Statistical Processing applications SPSS 17.0 software for statistical analysis, to analyze the relationship between experimental group and control group, The relationship between the indexes before and after the experiment, correlation analysis of FGF-23 and PTH, calcium and phosphorus. To understand the effect of Niaoduqing granules,and the relationship between FGF-23 and i PTH, calcium and phosphorus.Results: 1.There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the degree of uremic pruritus, FGF-23 ? PTH ? calcium and phosphorus before the experiment. It showed that the two groups were approximately the same before the experiment.2.Patients in the treatment group were improved after the treatment in uremic pruritus, Compared with that before the experiment, there was a significant difference. There was significant difference between the control group and the control group too.This shows that Niaoduqing particles have a role in uremic pruritus in Maintenance hemodialysis Patients.3.There was significant difference in FGF-23?PTH?calcium and phosphorus before and after the experiment: Calcium increased, while FGF-23, PTH, phosphorus decreased. It shows that Niaoduqing particles have a role in these experimental indexes.4. After the experiment, there was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in FGF-23?PTH?calcium and phosphorus: Calcium increased, while FGF-23, PTH, phosphorus decreased. It shows that Niaoduqing particles have a role in these experimental indexes.5.FGF-23 was positively correlated with phosphorus and PTH, and negatively correlated with calcium.6.Security analysis: Compared with the control group, there was no significant difference in the treatment group that the patient's condition was stable during the observation period. There was no obvious adverse reaction, and there was no safety problems.Conclusion: Niaoduqing particles have a role in relieving uremic pruritus in Maintenance hemodialysis Patients.It can relieve the pain of patients, increase the level of calcium, reduce the levels of phosphorus, PTH and FGF23 in uremic pruritus patients. FGF-23 was positively correlated with phosphorus and PTH, and negatively correlated with calcium. It shows that FGF23 has an indelible role in calciumphosphorus metabolism in Maintenance hemodialysis Patients.
