Clinical Observation Of Irradiation Therapy With Super Lizer On Uremic Pruritus

Object:To identify the effect and safty of Sanyinjiao and Quchi acupoint irradiation therapy with super lizer and local skin irradiation therapy with He-Ne laser and CO2 laser on uremic pruritus.Methods:40 case of the patients, who have been diagnosed end-stage renal disease with uremic pruritus by the blood purification center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University and its Dongpu branch hospital from November 2009 to July 2010, were included for the research. All of the patients continued the original therapy and also kept the original blood purification program not changing. All of the patients did not have used any drugs of pruritus before the study.20 case were grouped into treatment group. The treatment group were used irradiation therapy with TDG-1 aligning polarized wave therapy device at the Sanyinjiao and Quchi acupoint and local irradiation therapy with HN-8318 laser therapy device and 901-C CO2 multi-functional laser treatment device for 25 minutes once a day on two days a week for a total of 10 sessions. The 20 case in control group were given non-specific therapy. The changings of pluse, blood pressure and respiration were recorded. The extend of puritus was evaluated in pre-post-treatment on a visual analog scale (VAS). Datas were shown in the form of (?)±s.The improvement of sleep were also recorded. The pre-post-treatment indexes of BUN, Scr, Alb, Hb, Hct, iPTH, Ca and P in blood serum were tested.And the Ca×P was calculated.The bi-group measurement data are analyzed using the average t of both samples.The quantity data are analyzed by X2 testing.Result:The visual analog scale (VAS) of 20 patients who were grouped into treatment group was decrease obviously after 10 sessions therapy by laser (P=0.00<0.01).18 patients(90%) felt the symptom of pruritus has been eased.And 14 patients(70%) were sleeping well than before. But the VAS has not changed in 20 patients who were grouped into control group and were given non-specific therapy (P>0.1). Just 4 patients(20%) felt the symptom of pruritus has been eased.And 5 patients(25%) were sleeping well than before. There is no statistical difference between the two groups in the rate of pre-post-treatment BUN, Scr, Alb, Hb, Hct, iPTH, Ca and P (P＞0.05)Conclusion:1. Through used irradiation therapy with TDG-1 aligning polarized wave therapy device at the Sanyinjiao and Quchi acupoint and local irradiation therapy with HN-8318 laser therapy device and 901-C CO2 multi-functional laser treatment device to ease the pruritus. The results show that it can effectively limit uremic pruritus. Both improved quality of sleep and quality of life.2. There is no any adverse reactions has been found while used the TDG-1 aligning polarized wave therapy device and HN-8318 laser therapy device and 901-C CO2 multi-functional laser treatment device to treatment. The condiction of post-treatment patients are quiet good.
