Discussion On Rationality Of Application Of Crude And Carbonized Pollen Tyahae

The drug Pollen Typhae consists of the dry pollen of Typhaceae,Typha angustifolia L.,Typha orientalis Preal or other species of the same genus,with the function of arresting bleeding,removing blood stasis and diuresis.Its indications include bleeding conditions such as hematemesis,hemoptysis and metrorrhagia and metrostaxis,and pain caused by blood stasis such as pain in heart and abdomen,pain post partum and dysmenorrheal.Generally speaking,as one of the commonly used drugs for removing blood stasis and arresting bleeding,crude Pollen Typhae trends to promote blood circulation with activating feature,and Carbonized one trends to arrest bleeding with astringing nature.A great deal of ancient literatures showed the prescription name of the drug is Pu Huang(Pollen Typhae)without indication of crude or prepared one,but for different effects of arresting bleeding,cooling blood and removing blood stasis.At present,it is same as before.For the rational application of crude and prepared drugs of Pollen Typhae,the paper discusses the application of crude and prepared Pollen Typhae based on the literature,clinical and experimental research.The paper includes three parts.The first part is literature research,summarizes the preparation methods and theory,and the effects of the crude and prepared Pollen Typhae,and discusses on the traditional theory of "crude form for promoting and prepared for checking" with dialectical thinking.The second part discusses on the theoretical basis of TCM and principles in application of crude and prepared Pollen Typhae through investigating collection,preparation,prescription and application of crude and prepared Pollen Typhae.The third part is experimental research.It shows that both crude and prepared Pollen Typhae have the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis on ADP-induced rabbits model through observing the influence of the drugs on platelet aggregation and thrombin time of model rabbits,the crude one is better than prepared.And both of them have a certain degree of promoting coagulation effect,and the carbonized is better than crude one.The research also shows that each of them can not be replaced by the other one in formulae through observation the influence of exchange of them on hemorheology and thrombin activity of rats' model.The experimental results confirm the traditional theory of "crude form for promoting and prepared for checking" of TCM.
