Clinical Observation On Sequential Therapy Of Tonifying Kidney As Well As Soothing Liver And Promoting Blood Circulation In The Treatment Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective: This study is aimed to observe the clinical effect with the method of Sequential Therapy of Tonifying Kidney as well as Soothing Liver and Promoting Blood Circulation,of patients who with liver stagnation and kidney deficiency PCOS,to scientific evaluating the therapeutic results,enriching the clinical treatment of this disease,and provide reference for clinical treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome.Methods: 32 patients with PCOS were selected according to this project criteria,who were treated for three Menstrual cycles with Sequential Therapy of Tonifying Kidney as well as Soothing Liver and Promoting Blood Circulation.The clinical symptoms(hirsutism,acne,menstrual disorder,obesity)were observed before and after the treatment,and also pregnancy case,TCM symptom scores,sex hormone level,the change of type-B ultrasonic(the change of polycystic ovary-like).according to the comprehensive clinical effect criteria to appraisal the total curative effect of Sequential Therapy of Tonifying Kidney as well as Soothing Liver and Promoting Blood Circulation on patients who with liver stagnation and kidney deficiency PCOS.Results: Though the Sequential Therapy of Tonifying Kidney as well as Soothing Liver and Promoting Blood Circulation method treating PCOS achieved the following results:1.7 cases were cured,10 cases markedly effective,9 cases effective,6 cases invalid.The rate of total effect was 81.2%.2.clinical symptoms of patients were significantly improved after treatment: The menstrual cycles were shorted,there was significant difference compared with prior treatment(P<0.05),11 cases of patients with amenorrhea,5 cases were cured,the cure rate was 45.5%;patients with acne symptoms had a marked improvement aftertreatment,the difference was significant;There were 18 patients with hirsutism and no patient was cured,but hairy grades have different degrees of decline;after the treatment,there were 3 patients pregnant in the 10 infertile cases;The BMI of obese patients decreased after the treatment,with statistically difference.3.The Influence of TCM syndrome score: Symptom scores decreased significantly after treatment,the difference was significant.4.The effect on sex hormone level in serum: after treatment,LH,LH/FSH,T levels decreased significantly,with statistically difference;there was no obvious change of FSH after treatment,no statistical significance.5.The number of polycystic ovary-like changes: after treatment,the number of patients who had polycystic ovary-like was decreased,before treatment there were17 cases who had bilateral polycystic ovary-like change,9 cases of unilateral polycystic ovary-like change,after the treatment,the number of bilateral polycystic ovary-like change was decreased to 11 cases,unilateral polycystic ovary-like change was decreased to 6 cases,the difference is significant.Conclusion: Method of Sequential Therapy of Tonifying Kidney as well as Soothing Liver and Promoting Blood Circulation was proved efficiently in this clinical research,can improving patients with menstrual disorder,hirsutism,acne,obesity,and other symptoms,reducing the TCM symptom scores,regulating the endocrine disorders in patients with PCOS,improving the condition of polycystic ovary,meanwhile,it can also help improving pregnancy.Research shows that the method of Sequential Therapy of Tonifying Kidney as well as Soothing Liver and Promoting Blood Circulation worthy further application.
