Objective: To investigate the relationship between visceral adipose tissue,adipokines and epicardial adipose tissue?cardiac function in Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.Methods: Select 100 cases of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus patients who from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region 2015-08 to 2016-06 years as the research people(male 65 cases,female 35 cases),divided into three groups.OB group(obesity group,31 cases),OW group(35 cases of overweight body weight,NW group(34 cases of normal weight group),according to the diagnostic standard of obesity Working Group on China's obesity enacted in 2003.Collect these 100 patients' clinical parameters which include anthropometric measurement(such as age,sex,height,SBP?DBP)and clinical biochemistry index(such as FINS),visceral adipose tissue(VAT mass,VAT area),epicardial adipose tissue(anterior right ventricular tissue,apical tissue),adipokines(Apelin,Omentin-1)and cardiac function(EF,EDV,ESV)to statistical analysis.Data were processed using SPSS 17.0software for analysis of variance,Spearman's correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression analysis.All results were considered statistically significal at P<0.05.Results: 1.There was no difference in age,sex,height,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between the three groups(P>0.05).Each both of the three groups(OB group,OW group and NW group)have significant differences among FINS,VAT mass,VAT area,anterior right ventricular tissue,apical tissue,Apelin and Omentin-1(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and compare these index average values of three goups: OB group>OW group> NW group.2.Apelin was positively correlated with visceral adipose tissue(VAT mass,VAT area),epicardial fat(anterior right ventricular tissue,apical tissue),cardiac function(EDV,ESV)(R=0.424,0.425,0.205,0.198,0.261,0.337,P<0.05 or P<0.01),and were negatively correlated with cardiac function(EF)(R=-0.251,P < 0.05);Omentin-1 was negatively correlated with visceral adipose tissue(VAT mass,VAT area),epicardial adipose tissue(anterior right ventricular tissue,apical tissue),cardiac function(EDV,ESV)(R=-0.539,-0.538,-0.263,-0.260,-0.338,-0.388 P<0.01).3.The multiple linear regression analysis showed that the visceral adipose tissue VAT area may be an important factor affecting cardiac function(EF,EDV,ESV)of patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus.Conclusions: The study showed that: 1.Visceral adipose tissue of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were correlated with Cardiac function(EF),the results suggest that reducing Visceral adipose tissue area may protect the heart function of patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus.2.Apelin was positively correlated with visceral adipose tissue,epicardial adipose tissue,and was negatively correlated with cardiac function(EF);These results suggest that reduce visceral adipose tissue,decrease Apelin concentration can improve left ventricular ejection fraction.3.Omentin-1 was negatively correlated with visceral adipose tissue,epicardial adipose tissue and cardiac function(EDV,ESV),it is a remind that reduce visceral adipose tissue,increase omentin-1 concentration can improve cardiac function.
