Clinical Observation On The Acupuncture Therapy Of "Reinforcing Kidney And Regulating Governor Vessel" In Mild Cognitive Impairment

Objective: We selected patients with mild cognitive impairment as the research object and evaluated the clinical efficacy of the treatment of acupuncture combined with taking donepezil hydrochloride and the treatment of taking donepezil hydrochloride only to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of Mild Cognitive Impairment,in order to prove the effectiveness of the acupunctur therapy of“Reinforcing Kidney and Regulating Governor Vessel”in mild cognitive impairmente and provide clinical basis of the treatment in mild cognitive impairment and the prevention and treatment of dementia.Methods: We adopted the study of the method of randomized control and the three separate standard,the 62 patients who met the inclusion criteria that came from the acupuncture clinic and inpatient department of Wuhan Jiangnan brain hospital were randomly divided into the combination of acupunture with medicine group and the western medicine group.There were 31 cases in each group,because each group off 1 people,so there were 60 patients completed the experment.The combination of acupunture with medicine group used the treatmentof the acupunture therapy of “Reinforcing Kidney and Regulating Governor Vessel” combined with tanking donepezil hydrochloride by electing Baihui(GV20),Sishencong(EX-HN1),Shen Ting(GV24),Fengchi(GB20)(bilateral),Shenshu(BL23)(bilateral),Xuanzhong(GB39)(bilateral),Taixi(HI3)(bilateral)as main acupoints(the head acupoints were divided into two groups,alternating electro acupuncture stimulation,frequency of 2-5Hz,continuous wave,for 30min),beside deficiency of kidney syndrome added Zhishi(BL52),deficiency of spleen syndrome added Xinshu(BL15),Pishu(BL20),phlegm disturbing heart syndrome added Fenglong(ST40),blood stasis obstructing syndrome added Geshu(BL17)after the traditional chinese medicine syndrome differentiation.1 time a day,6 times for a course of treatment,each treatment interval of 1 day,total treatment was typcally of 8 courses.The treatment of the western medicine group was taking one tablet of donepezil hydrochloride(An Lishen)a day(5mg)at night before going to bed,total treatment was typcally of 8 weeks.We observed the Mimi-meta State Examination(MMSE)and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(Mo CA)score's changes before and after the treatment of the two groups to evaluate the clinical efficacy,The SPASS17.0 statistical software was adopted to analyze the corresponding data.Results: 1.We Compared the MMSE score and Mo CA score of the two groups before and after treatment,there were significant differences(P<0.05),indicating that both groups improved the MMSE scale and Mo CA scale score.2.After treatment,we compared the MMSE scale'score and Mo CA scale's score of the the combination of acupunture with medicinegroup with the western medicine group's,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that the treatment of acupuncture with taking donepezil hydrochloride was better than the treatment of taking donepezil hydroch loride individuelly in improving the cognitive function of MCI patients.3.We Compared the total efficacy of the the combination of acupunture with medicine group and the western medicine group,we could see that the total effective rate of the combination of acupunture with medicine group was 83.33%,while the western medicine Group's total effective rate was 73.33%,two groups both improved the clinical symptoms of patients with MCI.We compared the efficacy of the two groups,there was significant difference(P<0.05),which indicated the clinical curative effect of the treatment of acupuncture with taking donepezil hydrochloride treatment was better than the treatment of taking donepezil hydrochloride individuelly,the “Reinforcing Kidney and Regulating Governor Vessel” method of acupuncture was a treatment method in clinical application.Conclusion: The results showed that: the treatment of acupuncture with taking donepezil hydrochloride and treatment of taking donepezil hydrochloride individuelly could both improve the condition of patients with mild cognitive impairment,and the efficacy of the acupuncture with taking donepezil hydrochloride was better than the treatment of taking donepezil hydrochloride individuelly.
