Objective:To observe the clinical effect on method of invigorating kidney and regulating menstruation cycles combing low dose estrogen-progestogen sequential therapy for infertile women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and provide scientific basis for popularization and clinical application.Method:This study has no comparison group,so used the self-control method. The 35 cases of infertility patients with PCOS were selected according to the standard of inclusion group. These patients were treated with the method of invigorating kidney and regulating menstruation cycles combing low dose estrogen-progestogen sequential therapy for two courses. To observe and record the changes of pregnancy rate and ovulation rate, menstrual cycle and basic body temperature before and after the treatment.Besides, the changes of ovarian maximum plane diameter, endometrial thickness and follicular diameter, serum sex hormone level and clinical symptom scores would also be recorded and after the withdrawal of six months follow-up.Results:1.Pregnancy and ovulation rate:Among the 35 patients enrolled,14 of them were naturally pregnant, accounting for 40.0%.After two courses of treatment, ovulation rate was 82.8%,the total effective rate was 82.8%.2.Hormone level:The level of T,LH and LH/FSH ratio were lower than those before treatment, while the level of E2 was significantly higher than before, all of these differences showed statistically significant. While the difference of the level of FSH between before and after the treatment was not statistically significant.3.Clinical symptoms and signs:The total scores of clinical symptoms,as well asthe scores of each group were decreased significantly after the treatment, except the hairy symptoms.Meanwhile, the endometrial thickness became thicker, follicular diameter increased, the largest ovarian diameter decreased, the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion:For infertility patients with PCOS,the method of invigorating kidney and regulating menstruation cycles combing low dose estrogen-progestogen sequenti-al therapy is effective exactly. After treatment, the clinical pregnancy rate, systemic symptoms and serum levels of sex hormones were significantly improved. The use of low dose of estrogen-progestogen sequential therapy could control the patients'menstrual cycles and help them recover ovulated function. This research may offer a new idea for the treatment of infertility patients with PCOS. |
