Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Compound Xueshuantong Capsule In Treating Non - Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy With Qi - Yin Deficiency And Stasis Syndrome

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Fufang Xueshuantong capsule for treatment of nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR)Methods 128 NIDDM patients with NPDR and eyeground change were randomly assigned(64:64) to the treatment group (Fufang Xueshuantong capsule) and the controlled group(DOXIUM).Examination of vision and ColorDoppler flow imaging(CDFI);photography of eyeground and OCT(2、4、6monthes) before treatment and after 6-monthes were used to evaluate the effects of Fufang Xueshuantong capsule impersonally.Results(1)The percentage of the total effective cases of the treatment group was 71.87%, and the controlled group was 56.67%,P<0.05, two groups both have some statistical significance before treatment and after clinical therapy.so Fufang Xueshuantong capsule is superior to DOXIUM.(2)Vision:Comparison in the treatment group and the controlled group in3 or 4 degree The percentage of the total effective cases of the treatment group was 68.75%,and the controlled group was 46.67%,P<0.05, two groups both have some statistical significance before treatment and after clinical therapy.so Fufang Xueshuantong capsule is superior to DOXIUM(3)The treatment group, whose percentage of the total effective cases is 65.63%, is superior to the controlled group, whose is 48.34%, in eyeground examination and fundus fluorescein angiography. Comparisons between the groups have statistical significance (P<0.05).so Fufang Xueshuantong capsule is superior to DOXIUM.(4) The results according to measure macular thickness by OCT examination displayed that after treatment 2 -month, two groups have no statistical significance. after treatment 4 and 6-month, two groups both have some statistical significance before treatment and the effect of treatment group is better than the other group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Curative effect of Fufang Xueshuantong capsule in Nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) is significant, and superior to DOXIUM.
