Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupoint injection therapy of lidocaine hydrochloride in primary trigeminal neuralgia.Methods:60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group(acupuncture point injection group)and control group(drug treated group),each group has 30 cases. The patients of the treatment group were treated with acupoint injection therapy of lidocaine hydrochloride,(the injection acupoint of the first branch:Yuyao;the injection acupoint of the second branch:Sibai;the injection acupoint of the third branch:Xiaguan)One time of treatment of every two days,Seven times as a course of treatment, continuous treatment of 2 courses, and rest for two days between two courses. The patients of control group were treated with oral carbamazepine,2 times a day,the first oral dose is 0.1 grams, and the additive 0.1 grams after each day, until the symptoms such as facial pain disappear, while the maximum daily dose can not exceed 1.0 grams.Adjust dosage according to the symptoms, and determine the minimum effective maintenance quantity, continuous treatment for 4 weeks Before treatment and treatment for 2 weeks,4 weeks and three months after the end of treatment, record respective inclusion criteria of visual analogue scale,TCM syndrome score.,respectively evaluate the recent and forward curative effect.Results:1.Recent therapeutic effect:after 2 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment group(96.67%)and the control group(90.00%)(P>0.05);After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group(100%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(90%),and the difference between two groups was significant(P<0.05),Visual analogue scores of patients between two groups showed a downward trend, whether after 2 weeks of treatment or after 4 weeks of treatment, compared with before treatment, there were both significant differences(P<0.01)There was no significant difference between the two groups in visual analogue scale after treatment for 2 weeks(P>0.05),while there was a significant difference between the two groups in visual analogue score after treatment for 4 weeks(P<0.01);TCM symptom scores of patients between two groups after treatment both showed a downward trend, and there were statistical differences(P<0.05)when compared with before treatmewnt.2.The long-term therapeutic effect:The total effective rate of treatment group(100.000%)is significantly higher than the control group(90.00%),and there is statistical difference(P<0.01).There were statistically significant differences of VAS score in two groups of patients when compared with before treatment and 3 months after treatment(p<0.05);The difference of VAS score between the two groups are statistically significant(p<0.01).The differences of two groups of TCM symptom scores when compared with before treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05),while compared with 3 months after treatment, were no significant(P>0.05)Conclusion:The effect of acupoint injection of lidocaine hydrochloride on the symptoms'improvement of primary trigeminal neuralgia was better than that of oral carbamazepine alone.
