ObjectiveUse electromyography for measuring abdominal muscles and diaphragmatic surface electromyography, use ultrasonic for measuring diaphragm and abdominal thickening rate and abdominal activity degree, use CSS,PAC-QOL,SAS,SDS etc,to evaluate the effect of respiratory electrical stimulation training in patients with functional constipation.MethodsA total of 46 patients with functional constipation were included in the study,The patients were divided into control group, treatment group A and treatment group B according to the random number table method. The treatment group A received pelvic floor biofeedback therapy combined with respiratory stimulation training(15 cases)on the basis of lactulose treatment,Pelvic floor biofeedback therapy(16 cases)was performed on the basis of lactulose treatment in the treatment group B,The control group was treated with lactulose(15 cases).Respectively before treatment and after treatment in two groups with CSS?PAC-QOL?SAS?SDS questionnaire score, surface electromyography technique was used to measure the SEMG of the diaphragm and the lower abdomen,Glazer method was used to evaluate the parameters of pelvic floor muscle, the thickening rate of abdominal muscle and diaphragmatic activity were measured by ultrasound.ResultsAfter 2 weeks of treatment, three groups of patients with chronic constipation severity score was lower than before treatment(P<0.05).And the treatment group A score was lower than the treatment group B and the control group(P<0.05).The root mean square values of the diaphragm and rectus muscles in the 2 treatment groups were better than those before treatment(P<0.05).But the degree of diaphragmatic muscle improvement in the treatment group A was significantly different from that in the treatment group(P<0.05).After treatment,The 5 rapid contraction, maximum contraction amplitude,5 sustained contraction amplitude and durable contraction amplitude of the 3 groups were significantly higher than before treatment by Glazer method,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The amplitudes of the baseline and baseline amplitudes were lower in the 2 treatment groups than before treatment(P<0.05).The 5 times of rapid contraction, maximum contraction amplitude,5 continuous contraction amplitude and durable contraction amplitude were significantly higher in the treatment group A than in the treatment group B and the control group(P<0.05).The baseline amplitude was lower than that in the treatment group B and the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,The treatment group A diaphragm activity and diaphragm, abdominal external oblique, oblique, rectus abdominis, thickening rate higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).And the treatment group A diaphragm activity and diaphragm, abdominal muscle, abdominal muscle, internal oblique, rectus thickening rate was significantly higher than the treatment group B and control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the two groups of patients PAC-QOL,SAS,SDS score was lower than before treatment(P<0.05).And the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionsThe respiratory electrical stimulation training can effectively improve the contractility of diaphragm and abdominal muscles and reduce the excessive activity of pelvic floor muscles.Effect of enhanced pelvic floor biofeedback in the treatment of functional constipation and mental state of patients, improve their quality of life.
