Acanthopanax Senticosus(Ruper.et Maxim.)Harms.belongs to the plants of the Acanthopanax family and it is mainly distributed in Liaoning province,Jilin province,Heilongjiang province,Hebei province and Shanxi province of China.According to the?Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of China?(2010 edition),it can be used for the treatment of deficiency of both the splenic and pulmonary Qi,weak health and lack of appetite,deficiency of both the lung and kidney,chronic cough and deficient asthma,lumbago due to the deficiency of the kidney,deficiency of both the heart and spleen,insomnia and dreaminess in TCM theory.Additionally,it has many pharmacological activities,which include regulatory effect on immune system,anti-tumor,anti-fatigue,anti-bacteria,anti-virus,anti-radiation and detoxicity effects.The acanthopanax senticosus injection has the ability to nourish liver and kidney and increase mental excitement and strengthen bones.It can be used to cure transient ischemic attack,cerebral arteriosclerosis,cerebral thrombosis and cerebral embolism in clinical application.In the meantime,it also can be used to treat coronary disease,angina pectoris neurasthenia and climacteric syndrome.Thus,we further carry on the experiments on the chemical constituents of the injection in order to further illustrate the effective components of it.Also,it can provide the scientific evidence for guiding the reasonable use and quality control of acanthopanax senticosus extracts.The isolation of the extract was carried out by ODS column chromatography,HPLC column chromatography and other modern separation techniques,resulting in twenty compounds in total.We identified thirteen ones' chemical structures of these compounds by analyzing their physical and chemical properties,UV spectra,NMR spectra and MS spectra.It can be definitely concluded that they are(-)-syringaresinol-4-O-?-D-glucopyranoside,eleutheroside E,(+)-Medioresinol-di-O-?-D-glucopyranoside,Pinoresinol-4,4'-di-O-?-D-glucoside,neociwujiaphenol,isofraxidin,eleutheroside B2,cis-syringin,sinapyl alcohol 1,3'-di-O-?-D-glucopyranoside,coniferin,adenosine,(7S,8R)-urolignoside,threo-7,8-bis-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-7,9-propanediol,respectively.Especially,sinapyl alcohol 1,3'-di-O-?-D-glucopyranoside,(7S,8R)-urolignoside and threo-7,8-bis-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-7,9-propanediol were firstly isolated from the plants of Araliaceae.In this research,we analyzed the chemical constituents of acanthopanax senticosus extracts,which can provide scientific evidence for ensuring the stability,safety and effectiveness of drug and also be useful for controlling the procedures of its actual production.Meanwhile,the identified monomer compounds provide the material basis for its follow-up pharmacokinetic experiments and quality evaluation research.Thus,it not only has a certain theoretical research meaning,but also a practical application value.
