A Data Mining Study On Herbal Administration Regularity Of Hyperthyroidism

Objective: This study is meant to analyze Professor Xu's regular pattern of Chinese medicine usage in treating Hyperthyroidism.This research mainly discusses the commonly used Chinese medicine's frequency of usage,four natures and five flavors and channel tropism,and analyzes frequently used paired herbs etc.At length,Professor Xu's academic characteristic and experience is concluded to guide clinical medication and improve efficiency of hyperthyroidism treatment.Method: The data source of this research is coming from the outpatient medical records of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2014 to 2016.Under Prof Xu's therapy,there are 71 patients,which was definitely diagnosed as Hyperthyroidism and totally counted 173 times treatment.By means of The Case Management Platform and SPSS,frequency analysis and clustering analysis,factor analysis was applied to the prescriptions of the hyperthyroidism to obtain Professor Xu's academic characteristic and experience.Result:The study collected 71 medical records and 173 therapies,169 prescriptions of which up to standard.There are 89 Chinese medicine in the169 prescriptions and the frequency of usage is 3847.There are 23 Chinese herbs,whose frequency of usage is 2661,are accounted for 40 percent of all used medicine.The most 8 frequently used medicine,whose frequency above 80%,becomes Prof Xu's core medicine to treat hyperthyroidism.Among the commonly used medicine of hyperthyroidism treatment,tonic drugs,whose frequency is 29.3%,is the most frequently used,the next is heat clearing drugs and liqiyao.Conclusion:1.bupleurum,Radix Paeoniae Alba,radix paeoniae rubra,tuckahoe,liquorice,Prunella,Cortex Moutan,medlar,chrysanthemum,Chinese yam,astragalus root,Schisandra chinensis,Rhizoma Cyperi,dogwood,forsythia,Atractylodes,turmeric,gardenia,Rhizoma Chuanxiong,Radix Scrophulariae,motherwort,dangshen is the main drugs in the treatment of hyperthyroidism.2.tonic drugs,heat clearing drugs are commonly used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism drugs category.3.cold,flat,temperature;sweet,bitter and pungent;liver meridian,lung meridian,heart meridian,spleen meridian is the main flavor and meridian medication treatment of hyperthyroidism.4.Relieving the depressed liver,clearing heat from liver,supplementing qi and nourishing yin,reducing phlegm and resolving masses,activating blood and dissolving stasis,nourishing liver and kidney is the main flavor and meridian medication treatment of hyperthyroidism.
