Objective:By measuring the plasma soluble ST2 levels in patients with chronic heart failure,and to explore its application value and clinical significance in heart failure.Methods:126 patients with chronic heart failure who were hospitalized from Department of Cardiology,the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from July 2016 to July2016 were selected as CHF group.According to NYHA classification criteria,30 cases were grade ?,45 cases were grade ?,51 cases were grade ?;60 non-CHF patients were selected as the control group in the same period.The plasma levels of BNP,soluble ST2,aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT),creatinine(CR),urea nitrogen(BUN),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)were measured in both groups.Left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)And left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were measured by cardiac color Doppler ultrasonography.Detailed records of age,sex,body mass index(BMI),smoking history,diabetes,hyperlipidemia,hypertension and family history of cardiovascular disease and other general clinical data.Finally,The differences between the CHF group and the control group and the subgroups in the CHF group were compared by statistical methods.Results:1.The plasma soluble ST2 level in the CHF group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P <0.05);2.The level of plasma soluble ST2 in CHF group increased gradually with the increase of heart function level of NYHA,which was correlated with the severity of heart failure;3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that plasma soluble ST2 levels in CHF group were positively correlated with BNP level and LVEDD,and negatively correlated with LVEF;4.There was no significant difference in plasma soluble ST2 level between ischemic cardiomyopathy,dilated cardiomyopathy and essential hypertension(F> 0.05);5.ROC curve analysis showed that the areas under the curve of BNP and soluble ST2 were 0.837 and 0.825 respectively.Soluble ST2 had diagnostic value in patients with chronic heart failure,When the combination of the two can improve the accuracy of the diagnosis,the area under the curve up to 0.942;6.The results of covariance analysis showed that the determination of soluble ST2 in CHF group was not affected by age,body mass index and renal function.Conclusion:Plasma soluble ST2 levels in the determination of chronic heart failure has clinical significance,can be chronic heart failure clinical diagnosis,severity of the disease to provide a certain value.
