Gegen Qinlian Decoction In Patients With Obese Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus(damp Heat Type)

Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of Gegenqinlian Decoction in treating patients with obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus,and to provide an optimized scheme for the treatment of obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:Methods 66 patients with obesity type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected and divided into two groups according to the random control principle.The control group(33 cases)were treated with basic treatment plus metformin sustained release tablets every time 0.5g,daily for 3 times;the treatment group of 33 cases,in the control group based on the addition of Gegenqinlian Decoction 200ml.12 weeks later,the safety index,TCM syndrome score,blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin,fasting insulin,insulin resistance index and body weight,body mass index,waist circumference,blood lipid indexes were observed.Results:1.TCM symptoms:the TCM syndrome score of the two groups were decreased(P<0.05),the effective rate:the treatment group was 80.00%,the control group was 73.33%,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05),there was statistical significance between the two groups.2.FPG?2h PG and Hb A_lc:FPG and 2h PG decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.01),and Hb Alc decreased after treatment(P<0.05).There was difference between the two groups(P<0.05)after treatment with FPG and 2h PG,but there was no difference between the two groups with Hb A_lc(P>0.05).3.Body weight,BMI,waist circumference:the weight and BMI of the treatment group and the control group were decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),but there was no difference between the treatment group and the control group in waist circumference(P>0.05).4.FINS and HOMA-IR:after treatment,the treatment group and control group patients with FINS and HOMA-IR were decreased(P<0.05),however,there was no difference in FINS and HOMA-IR between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).5.blood lipid index:After the treatment,the levels of TG,TC and LDL-C in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the level of HDL-C increased(P<0.05),there was no difference between the four groups after treatment(P>0.05).6.Safety index:before and after treatment in patients with hematuria and liver and kidney function and other indicators are in the normal range.Conclusion:Gegenqinlian decoction can make patients with TCM syndrome integral decline,reducing blood glucose,fasting insulin and glycated index,reduce weight and body mass index,insulin resistance,regulate blood lipids,small side effect,improve the quality of life of patients.
