This dissertation is comprised of two parts,in which the chemical consitituents of the Kopsia officinalis has been studied.A total of 49 compounds, have been isolated by using silica gel column chromatography,thin-layer chromatography, sephadex LH-20,MCI,medium pressure preparative chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography and so on.Compounds of structure were determined on the basis of NMR,MS,UV,IR analysis, and comparison with data in the literatures, including 10 new indloe alkaloids, named yunnankopsine A(1),yunnankopsine B(2),yunnankopsine C(3),yunnankopsine D(4),yunnankopsine E(5),yunnankopsine F(6),yunnankopsine G(7),yunnankopsine H(8),yunnankopsine I(9),yunnankopsine J(10).Compounds 1,2,3,4,6,7 are substituted with acetonyl at the C-5 position.Structural type of the alkaloids included me chanofruticosinate, aspidofractinine, kopsine, aspidospermine, akuammiline, eburnane. In addition,All of the compounds were tested for their anti-inflammatory effects in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cell line in vitro.Compounds 1,2,4,and 7 showed significant anti-inflammatory activities by inhibiting the production of IL-1? and PGE2.Interestingly,monoterpene alkaloids derivatives with an acetonyl moietyl at C-5exhibited significant anti-inflammatory activity, which was worthy to make a further investigation. In the end,the second chapter reviewed the research status of kopsia officinalis from the aspects of chemical composition and pharmacological activity.
