| Objective: to use contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CEUS)to show small renal tumor(≤4cm)perfusion,and thereby assess the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant small renal tumors(≤4cm),as well as the correlation between contrast-enhanced ultrasonography enhancement mode/microvessel density within lesions and different types of kidney tumor.Method: 133 small renal cancer patients, confirmed by pathology and undergoing CEUS examination in our hospital, were chosen as research subjects;the sonographic features and contrast enhancement mode of small renal tumors were observed, and a time-intensity curve(TIC)was drawn,to obtain quantitative parameters after contrast, and the correlation between quantitative parameters and different pathological types of small renal tumor was analyzed. Results: 57.4% of renal malignant tumors showed high contrast enhancement, which was significantly higher than that of benign small tumors 12.5%.Comparison of benign and malignant small tumors in 5 aspects-perfusion mode, enhancement degree, enhancement echo, edge enhancement and clearance mode-showed statistical significance(P < 0.05).High enhancement,fast-in,non-uniform enhancement, rapid clearance and edge enhancement have high diagnostic value for renal malignant tumors.Low enhancement,slow-in and slow clearance are of important diagnostic value for benign tumors.Statistical analysis showed that A(peak intensity),Ttopk(peak time)and Grad(gradient)differences were not statistically significant(P > 0.05),but K(ascending slope)and AUC(area under the curve)had statistically significant difference(P < 0.05),and can be used as quantitative parameters for differentiating benign and malignant tumors. Conclusion: Contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined with quantitative parameters(ascending slope,K and area under the curve,Area)is of important value for differentiating benign and malignant renal tumors.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound can serve as an important method for evaluating the benignity/malignancy of renal tumors, and for evaluating different types of renal tumors. |
