Objective: Bangna((?)-Tibetan transliteration)is the curative effect of toxic herbs,its name and source have been controversial since ancient times.In the modern times,the name of Bangna,Chinese medicine Aconitum pendulum Busch and the habitually medicinal materials are very serious similarities and differences of the same name with the integration of Chinese and Tibetan medicine.Now studying the source of Bangna and distance between the species of the habitually medicinal materials,characteristics,the main toxicity ingredients and detoxification.It is intended to solve the problem of confusion and safe use of medicines in the Bangna and the habitually medicinal materials,and lay a good foundation for the development of oral limited standard and further development and utilization of the Bangna and the habitually medicinal materials.Methods: A comprehensive analysis was conducted using the literature review method,medicinal name interpretation method,and plant classification method to determine the Bangna's name and the corresponding source plant.Through the use of pharmacological traits,microscopic and powder identification techniques to compare Aconitum pendulum Busch and habitually medicinal materials,to solve the problem of confusion.The DNA barcoding technique was used to determine the interspecific distances between the Bangna and its habits and confusion products(5 species of Aconitum),and the toxicity and interspecific relationships were analyzed.By establishing a stable HPLC content determination method,the toxicological analysis was performed on the Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch),Polychotomous Aconitum,and Aconitum vulgaris,and the toxicity was determined.The detoxification effect of the Bangna was compared using decoction plus honey mixed detoxification method,Tibetan medicine decoction method,modern high pressure method and fungus method.Results: Bangna((?)-Tibetan transliteration)is the most toxic form of Ana Petronas.It is also known as the Tiebangchui(Chinese medicine name).It is widely used by Han,Tibetan and Mongolian people for anti-inflammation and analgesia.Its basic source is the dried roots of Aconitum pendulum Busch and A.richardsonianum Hand.-Mazz.Through the comparison of the characteristics of crude drug characters,the Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch)and the Aconitum polyschistum are similar in appearance,but the roots of A.polyschistum are thicker(average diameter is 1.3 cm),and it's cylindrical or conical,the center of the section is mostly a hollow hole;the non-spindle has a shape of two tips that can be distinguished.Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch)powder multi thread,ladder catheter,stone cells are clearly visible.A.polyschistum are mostly reticulate ducts,and stone cells are occasionally seen.Building an NJ tree with the ITS2 sequence as a DNA barcode indicates that: Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch),A.polyschistum and A.sessiliflorum shortened into a large branch,which are closer in kinship,Taibai Aconitum and Gao Aconitum are clustered together in another with Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch).Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch)and habits A.polyschistum,A.sessiliflorum contains benzoyl aconitine,aconitine,deoxyaconitine;3-Acetylaconitine was present in 3 batches of A.polyschistum and part batches Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch).The average content of aconitine in the A.polyschistum is 1.4 times,that of the Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch),and the average content of deoxyaconitine is 2.6 times that of Bangna,only the content of benzoylaconitine is lower than the Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch);it can be seen that the toxicity(medicinal components)of A.polyschistum is far higher than that of Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch).It used to be the 87 th edition of traditional Chinese medicines in Sichuan Province(source of Aconitum Brachypudum with Aconitum pendulum Busch,A.richardsonianum Hand.-Mazz).The average content of aconitine in A.polyschistum is only 0.28 times that of Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch),and the four kinds of toxic components are not included in Taibai Aconitum and Gao Aconitum.Traditional decoction plus honey mixed detoxification method,Tibetan medicine dumplings manufacturing method,modern high-pressure method and fungus method are all attenuated,of which high-pressure attenuated method of making the process easier to grasp and good reproducibility.Conclusion: Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch)herbs should comply with "sanitation drug standards.The only criterion for the dry roots of Aconitum pendulum Busch and A.richardsonianum Hand.-Mazz is the only standard used in Tibetan medicine.Local standards or other related books should avoid confusion with drug names,transliteration names,and basic source plants.The curative effect of A.polyschistum is obvious and it has been cultivated in Aba,Sichuan,and the name of Aconitum Brachypudum has been occupied.It is recommended to establish the new name of the drug as a local drug standard.A.sessiliflorum,Taibai Aconitum and Gao Aconitum arc not suitable for use with Aconitum pendulum Busch or Aconitum Brachypudum.The four preparations of the Bangna(Aconitum pendulum Busch)all have a attenuating effect and can be selected according to clinical needs.
