Objective:To explore the correlation between plasma homocysteine and blood lipid levels and the incidence and prognosis of sudden deafness,so as to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of sudden deafness with appropriate intervention measures. Methods:The patients diagnosed as sudden deafness from December 2015 to September 2017 in Qinghai Provincial people's Hospital were selected as sudden deafness group. The levels of homocysteine, serum lipids were compared between sudden deafness group and control group. At the same time, different sex, different age, different hearing curve classification, different hearing loss degree, different affected side,Distribution of plasma homocysteine and blood lipid levels in patients with sudden deafness with different time and efficacy.Results:1.The plasma levels of homocysteine, total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein in patients with sudden deafness were higher than those in the control group, and the level of high density lipoprotein was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The level of homocysteine in patients with mild sudden deafness was lower than that in patients with extremely severe sudden deafness, and the level of high density lipoprotein in patients with mild sudden deafness was higher than that in patients with severe sudden deafness, and the difference was statistically significant. The plasma homocysteine level in the patients with sudden deafness was significantly higher than that in the cured group, and the level of high density lipoprotein in the effective group and the effective group was significantly lower than that in the cured group. Conclusion: High homocysteine and abnormal blood lipid may be the risk factors of sudden deafness. The higher the level of plasma homocysteine, the lower the level of high density lipoprotein(HDL)in blood lipid, which is not conducive to the treatment of sudden deafness.
