As one of the most important relationship in society, the employer-employee relationship shows more salient characteristics in the coast area with its further opening and reform than in the inland area. The prevailing position of the employer in the making and carrying of labor contract results in the happening of trouble concerning the labor relationship in the development of the enterprises, especially those medium and small size ones, with employees'being unable to have their deserved rights.This paper starts from the labor relations and an enterprise which has decisive strength and advantage. It finds out the power which helps to construct harmonious labor relationship and reduce labor conflict, digging a new growth point of enterprise performance. It prompts companies to maintain good labor relations consciously. This paper has an empirical study on Quanzhou stone industry, a private enterprise, which reforms deeper than the other enterprises along the coastal areas and has more labor conflicts.The paper analyses labor relations in 1,300 enterprises and 120,000 people engaged in stone industry. It explores mechanism of labor relations on business performance in order to provide sufficient evidence for the harmonious labor relations impact on enterprise performance, prompting enterprise managers to create attaches to the industrial relations, so as to achieve the purpose of improving corporate profits.In this paper, on the basis of the existing mature forms and the condition of Quanzhou stone industry enterprises, it chooses the appropriate scale and questionnaire, collecting Quanzhou local stone industry data. There are 104 enterprises effective sample data analyzed through the SPSS software to get the conclusion.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is an overview of the research background and research significance of this article. The second part is the introduction of the theory, which determines the labor relations, organizational capacity, and the concept of enterprise performance. It shows the mechanism of the analysis of industrial relations and enterprise performance and provides theoretical support for the back of the empirical research. The third part is about the theory model and research hypothesis. It aims to construct theory model about the labor relations impact on business performance. The forth part is questionnaire and pretest. The pretest is the way to reliability and validity. The fifth part is the main parts of the paper, which shows an empirical study. It uses correlation analysis, regression analysis, one-way ANOVA and Independent-Sample Test to analyze, modify and confirm the theory model and research hypothesis. The last part is the conclusion. It points out the shortcomings in the course of study and shows future research prospects.
