The Chinese character teaching is an essential part in Chinese teaching, which has been considered as the most difficult part of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language at the same time. However,the teaching of Chinese characters has not yet received enough attention in the current teaching theory and practice. There is a far distance between the research achievement on character teaching and the international demand on the diversity of Chinese language and culture teaching, which makes characters teaching and innovation extremely important.This thesis attempts to put forward a viewpoint that use the related stories in character teaching, according to the characteristics and present condition on characters teaching.And try to design and demonstration on basis of different level and different culture belongs to the international students.Combining with a year of Chinese teaching experience in South Korea, the author has carried on concrete discussion and research on a series of teaching practice through designing classroom activities and test to this method.Four chapters:The first chapter is introduction, mainly expounds the background of the topic, and clear the purpose and value of this study on the basis of the achievements of predecessors.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of Chinese character teaching, on aspects of the teaching object and the characteristics of character teaching to the foreigners.Starting from the definition and the source of the Chinese character story, the third chapter has carried on the detailed classification, illustration, and corresponding principle applied of foreign Chinese character teaching.The fourth chapter is the main part of this article, the research part. According to the characteristics of the different stages learners as well as the different requirements of Chinese character learning, it respectively carries lesson plan design, case analysis and validity analysis.The finally draws the conclusion: it is feasible and effective to use Chinese story in foreign Chinese character teaching.
