The Metaphor Subjective Analysis Of Mo Yan And Qian Zhongshu’s Novels

Rhetoric is verbal expression combination national language, semantics and discourse structure to produce a special unique effect. Metaphor as a common rhetoric, has strong vitality and ancient history. Metaphor in People’s daily life,also in literary texts.Mo Yan is the first Chinese to win the Nobel Prize for Literature Writers.His novels used many metaphor,seemingly handy but eclectic, unconventional; by contrast, although Mr Qian Zhongshu’s novels is few, but used many metaphor in his novels, original style, often gave readers a fresh wonderful feeling. They are flashing on the contemporary writers, they also used a variety of metaphor, but compared their novels about metaphor,we will find that there is similarity, while also having a significant difference.Study the reason is because the metaphor subjective.Lyons noted, subjectivity refers to natural language provides a speaker’s speech acts and expressions of his own attitudes and beliefs in the normal way of their structure and function. Mr Qian and Mr. Mo used metaphor in their novels also reveal their own thoughts,attitudes, experiences and beliefs. The author of this paper will be divided into four sections to study the novels by Qian Zhongshu and Mo Yan. The first part is an introduction,this paper is mainly to study the origin, research methods, and generally with summarized and related studies; the second part of is relevant definitions about rhetoric; the third part collected Mr Qian and Mr. Mo’s metaphor, analysis metaphor subjectivity from vehicles’ s subjective choice, manifestations of vehicles, metaphor classification and Metaphors style;the last part explain Life experiences, geographical differences, characteristics of the times,cultural and psychological factors affect the metaphor subjectivity.This paper is based on Mr Qian and Mr. Mo Yan’s novel, analyze their metaphor sentences, Study two writers metaphor subjectivity and reasons for the difference.
