A learner's motivation affects his learning outcomes. The more internalized the motivation is, the more the learner is interested in learning, thus the better the outcomes are. In the field of interpreting and interpreting teaching, there are fewer studies on motivation internalization and how motivation may be internalized by various strategies.Chinese to English simultaneous interpreting is an important yet challenging subject of interpreting. Therefore, it is worthy of researching effective strategies to internalize learners' motivation and reduce or even overcome such common negative factors as tiredness and over anxiety.Peer review is a way of evaluation with the help of peers. Using this method in teaching helps improve students' ability to learn autonomously and enhance their interest and motivation. In the field of interpreting, however, there are very few researches on peer review.This study, through quantitative and qualitative analysis, compares peer review and the traditional teacher review on their influence on students' motivation internalization. The study has theoretical and practical meanings. Theoretically, the research can enrich studies on motivation. Practically, it can guide teachers through choosing effective strategies for motivation internalization and building class favorable to internalization of motivation.By means of experiment and interview, the author draws the conclusion that, in Chinese to English simultaneous interpreting teaching, compared with the traditional teacher review, peer review can raise students' motivation level.
