The stability is prerequisite for social development.Nowadays the urbanization begins to accelerate rapidly and the developing countries are facing a great deal of problems of urbanization,among them the relationship between Cairo's marginal groups under the shadow of urbanization and social stability makes a critical role.Cairo,the capital and a historic city of Egypt,is also the largest city of Middle East and Africa,and its urban stability is being affected by the large-scale urban marginal groups.This thesis will mainly discuss the relationship between Cairo's marginal groups and social stability.The thesis is divided into introduction,body and conclusion.In the introduction part,the objective and meanings of choosing the topic and both foreign and domestic research state,as well as the research content,research methods and creativity will be introduced.The first section of body part gives the definition of Cairo's urban marginal groups and divides it into the urban poor,which includes groups with low education and low labor quality level and high quality but low income groups,and the rural migrants.Meanwhile,the three stages of rural migrants' migration processes are hackled.The first stage is in 1950 s,rural migrants mainly immigrated towards west desert regions.The second stage is in1970 s,there was a large scale of Cairo's workers immigrating abroad,and the rural labor force crowded into the city.The third stage is in 1980 s,the emigration return appeared,with a large-scale shift of the labor force reclaiming wasteland to immigrate to the metropolis.The second section of body part focuses on the relationship between Cairo's marginal groups and the stability of politics,economy,social psychology and social order.Political stability is discussed from two aspects of the stability of the political system and the orderliness in policy making cases study on the effect of urban marginal groups on the political system in the Cairo riot of1977 and series of policy which the government made to solve the housing problems of marginalized groups step by step.Economic stability is analyzed from the hidden trouble in economical situation caused by the informal economy that the marginalized groupsengaged in and their effects on industrial structure.It is notable that agricultural productions existing in Cairo's informal settlements.In the aspect of social psychology,it takes the injustice of medical treatment and living environment as the examples to discuss the extinction of Cairo's urban marginal groups' trust on the government and the increase of their own frustration.At last,the relationship between Cairo's marginal groups and the stability of social order is discussed from two angles of social security and social morality.The effect of social security is researched from the drug abuse,the increasing riots and high crime rate,as well as the disorder traffic and the frequency of traffic accident.The study on social morality stresses on the phenomenon,that the social status of women was low and the fraternity prevailed,and their influence.The third section of body part discusses Cairo government's responsive policy in social security,economy,vocational skill education and the municipal construction.The conclusion part makes a comprehensive summary for the thesis and points out that solving the marginal problems can increase the stability of Cairo,even Egypt.
