QiaoQi Tibetan Groups reside in the eastern edge of Tibetan and Yi Nationality Corridor, which is located in the southern foot of JiaJin Mountain and the northern area of BaoXing County, belonging to the branch of JiaRong Tibetan, and their ancestors are the subjects of Mu Ping Dong Pu Han Hu headman, which is one of 18 headmen in JiaRong. For its extraordinary geographic location, QiaoQi region lay in the Han and Ethnic Groups boundaries historically, and it particularly has become the "margin" of the two major regional cultures between Han and Tibetan. However, until now the historical and cultural studies of Tibetan Groups in QiaoQi are overlooked in academic field. However, as a "marginal" group, the study on the history and culture of the Tibetan Groups in QiaoQi will benefit greatly the in-depth study of cultural diversity and particularity within Tibetan and Yi Nationality Corridor .This paper is a preliminary attempt for the study of the history and culture of Tibetan Groups in QiaoQi, and it will describe and analyse comprhensively for culture and history of Tibetan Groups in QiaoQi from the two different ways of historiography and ethnography, on the basis of which some noteworthy issues of Tibetan history and culture of QiaoQi will be roughly explored.The first part of the paper is "preface ", which will illustrate briefly some issues such as the meaning of the selection of subjects and the study situation; The second...
