A Translation Project Report Of Nepal Earthquake Post Disaster Needs Assessment (Chapter One)

This is a translation project report of Nepal Earthquake Post Disaster Needs Assessment released by World Bank Group in 2015, of which Chapter One Housing and Human Settlements is the source text. Part Three is about translation difficulties and methods. The translation difficulties lie in the translation of the architectural terminology, relevant laws launched by the Nepal government, nouns such as names of places, and long sentences and passive sentences. The methods include addition and omission, conversion and splitting of sentence. Part Four concludes with the lessons, and problems to be solved in the translation project.
