The cultural tourism, developing rapidly in recent years, refers to the tourism subject for the purpose of cultural motivation having a cultural experience by the tourism object with a cultural nature. It can powerfully promote the colorful history and culture of Tianjin, and can combine the enormous economic benefits with the huge cultural benefits that produced by the tourism industry, can also promote the rapid development of the cultural construction in Tianjin. The cultural tourism is a kind of happy style for various social groups, is a kind of deep and lasting way to communicate.This style can promote the communication between different social classes. It is a kind of deep and lasting way to communicate.Having sort out the research status at home and abroad comprehensively, this article is based on the intercultural perspective. It uses tourism(which is the best carrier of cultural transmission) as the medium. This article analyses the intercultural tourism's physical motivation, psychological motivation and the main influence factors. It pays special attention to the intercultural differences and the cultural adaptation. The article explores further the intercultural tourism's specific process on the communication and interaction, also infers the results that most likely to produce. Then, combined with the status quo of Tianjin cultural tourism, based on the Internet freedom reviews data on tripadvisor and Ctrip, this artical analyses the necessity and feasibility of cultural tourism development in Tianjin. With the aid of SWOT matrix analysis model, this article points out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of cultural tourism development in Tianjin. Corollary: the advantage is the main aspects. We should take full advantage of the favorable external conditions to develop ourselves, and try to apply the relevant theories of intercultural tourism to the practice. At last, this article puts forward some feasible Suggestions from different angles, such as tourism practitioner staff, the cultural tourism products, Tianjin cultural tourism image and national policy, in order to promote the Tianjin cultural transmission and the Tianjin cultural construction.
