Chinese nouns of locality are more special kind of words. Their semantic and syntactic functions are more complex, and in this position the nouns of locality are learning chinese cannot be ignored. Words such as " Up/Down "direction expressions are what people use to express the most fundamental statements. Their frequent spatial usage are in relations with orientation of the words. The concept of specific space are usually inseparable from people's cognitive space and time orientation of the word, as well as certain abstract concepts including the number and social status. Although Chinese and Malagasy for " up/down " orientations have different cognitive meanings, they can always have the same expression along the way due to differences in language and expression, but of course, not same in the way of expression.This article delves in to try the references of previous position of word research results, based on the modern Chinese nouns " Up/Down " and Modern Madagascar words of direction "ambany, iva (on)/ambony, avo (down) " in contrast, its intended to reveal between the similarities and differences in the meaning and grammatical function (on) and finally, to provide or suggest ways in teaching Chinese language of words " Up/down ".
