It occured a special phenomenon that many civil officials worked as militery martial officers,when the Han Dynasty was relatively stable.Namely many senior generals were replaced by civil officials.There was far different between civilian and martial senior generals in the aspect of function.Comparing with the latter,the former mainly assisted the emperor and dealt with many national events.Tt was indicated that the civilian senior generals took the percentage of nearly one-third in Han Dynasty.To some extent,the special phenomenon has certain representation.The appearance of civilian senior generals related to the social background in the Han Dynasty.From the setting of position,it has set complete positions of civil officials and military officers to the Han Dynasty,so the civil and military officials have set apart.However,in the course of appointment,the civil officials can took up the military positions,vice versa. Therefore,the civil and the martial were still syncretized.Besides,after the nation stabilized of the Han Dynasty,many emperors appointed the civil officials governed the country.It occured the trend that the civil officials replacing the martial officers.Actually,it’s also a professional design to weaken the power of Phase,Minister and Imperical censor.At the same time,civil officials can work as martial officers which is related to thier special origins.All the civilian senior generals were the Dukes.So it is also based on the consideration of the special relationship between the Dukes and the emperors.Everything is the product of historical development to some stage,at the same time,will also leave influence on history.The civilian generals have exerted an profound impact on military and power structure of Han Dynasty,even on the later dynasties.Depending on the special relationship with emperors,the Consort clans did just as they pleased,which led to the eunuchs dissatisfied.Then, their fight for power upset the imperial college students and petty officials which caused a large scourage called the Movement of Striking Groupings. All this laid an invisible foundation for the destruction of the Han Dynasty.Later, most of emperors paid attention to drawing lessons from the destruction of the Han Dynasty and adjusted policies properly.
