The Study Of Cultural Barriers In Russian-Chinese Interpretation

With the relationship between Russia and China rapidly development,intercultural communication are becoming increasingly frequent, the role of interpreter in the process of communication is increasingly important. During the Russian-Chinese interpretation, cultural barriers has always existed, and they are important factors influening cross-cultural communications. In this paper, according to statements of Xi Jinping, Putin and other leaders and diplomats,combined with cross-cultural issues which the author encountered in the study and work, explore the impact of barriers to cross-cultural interpretation, the cause of cross cultural barriers and cross-cultural barriers solving strategies,so as to overcome cross-cultural barriers, improve the quality of interpretation.Cross-cultural barriers will affect the smooth progress of cross-cultural communication,therefore, it is necessary to recognize the obstacles to cross-cultural interpretation, which can not be ignored. The author thinks,cultural barriers can lead to too much problems during the process of interpretation,such as: excessive transmission of information,missing transfer,delivery errors and information gap etc. Detailed analysis and describes the impact of cultural obstacles to interpretation. Intercultural barriers of Russian-Chinese interpretation are mainly due to the differences of mode of thinking, customs, religion, history and culture as well as regional environment. China and Russia belonging to different ecological, physical,social and religious environment, people form different languages, knowledge,belief, culture, ways of thinking in different circumstances, customs.Two nations created their own cultural system in their different living environment.Cultural differences between two nations brought a lot of obstacles to cross-cultural communication between China and Russia.The only way to overcome these obstacles,improve the Russian-Chinese interpreter and improve the efficiency of cross-cultural communication is to recognize thecauses of cross-cultural barriers. The author thinks, in order to overcome cross-cultural barriers in Russian-Chinese interpretation should be good preparation before translation, master the skills of interpretation and training interpreters cross-cultural awareness of interpreters.In conclusion, the study of cross-cultural barriers in Russian-Chinese interpreter,have great significance to help the majority of Russian-Chinese interpreters understanding cross-cultural barriers clearer and particularly, also help them deal with cross-cultural barriers appearing in Russian and Chinese interpretation easier.This study has a great role whether in promoting the smooth progress Russia-Chinese interpreters, or enrich and develop the theory of Russian-Chinese interpreters.
