Self-supporting personality is developed in basic survival and solving problems. It is included independence, initiative, responsibility, flexibility and openness of individual and interpersonal. It is a comprehensive personality.Sandplay is the consultant that visitors can be free to expression self with picking toys from shelves. Psychologist stands aside in silence and analysis.This paper aims to research on the effectiveness of sandplay on shaping self-supporting personality. And promote the application of sandplay in mental health education in school. This study is used a single factor experimental design. One class is divided into experimental group and control group.Experimental group is intervention by sandplay. Adolescent self supporting personality scale is measured in two groups before and after the experiment.Conclusion:(1) sandplay can effective shape self supporting personality.(2) sandplay can be applied to mental health education curriculum.
