Today,the survival states of companion animals are actually the mirror image of the human being's survival conditions.With a growing number of companion animals,the irresponsible behaviors of society for companion animals are becoming more and more serious.The evil behaviors such as wanton abuse and damage,and abandoning,affect the harmonious development of human society,devour the human kind hearts,and kill people's awareness of protecting animals.Master how to get along with a companion animal?Whether the owner has the responsibility of companion animal? This is a topic which is worth the social attention and the thorough research from the academic theory.According to the animal ethics,bioethics,philosophy of life,moral philosophy and other theory,we made preliminary analysis to the status on the relationship between owner and companion animal.It required that people should have "Empathy" when they get along with companion animal and think more about what animals want rather than what human beings impose on animals.We study whether the proverb that ‘do as you would be done by' can be extended to animals.People should respect animals' selection as subject of life,return to the original rights and benefits of animals,realize the relationship between people and companion animals,fulfill the responsibility of the owner of the companion animal consciously,and contribute strength in order to get along with masters and companion animals.In this paper the responsibility of the owners of companion animals mainly through moral way,the way of public opinion,the legal means,responsibility adoption,and the social securities: first,people should improve personal moral accomplishment and be a man of high moral in life;second,strengthening the spread of social media,we should advocate the idea of animal protection,guide people to the correct understanding of animals,and establish the new outlook on life;third,only by appealing to the companion animal legislation and established the corresponding laws,can their interests be protected;fourth,the adoption of responsibility systems should be implemented.Responsibility adoption is the basic guarantees of companion animal life,only to feed the animal companion at the beginning can we better do responsible for them by the adoption of responsibility;last and foremost,only to strengthen the social securities,can we do the responsible for companion animals better than.
