This is a translation report for Angry Birds: Treasure Island, which is a children's novel written by a British writer Cavan Scott. The novel has drawn its materials from a computer game Angry Birds, which is popular around the world. Therefore, the Angry Birds series of books which modeled on the game characters are loved by readers within days of their publication.Skopos Theory is the guiding theory of translation of Angry Birds: Treasure Island. By translating, the author has tested the applicability of Skopos Theory in children's literature translation and summarized some translation strategies suitable for children's literature translation. The purpose of this report is to encourage progress in children's literature translation development and effectively promote the exchange between the children's literature of China and that of other countries.This report is divided into four parts. The first part mainly introduces the background and features of Angry Birds: Treasure Island. The second part introduces the preparation before translation, the process of translation and proofreading process. The author also probes into the appropriate translation theory based on the analysis in the first part. The third part is a case study on translation strategies through a comparative analysis. This part mainly focuses on the translation of Angry Birds: Treasure Island from the perspective of Skopos Theory. The last part is a summary of the author's ideas about this report and its significance.
