Suggestion is a common language phenomenon in our daily life. On one hand a reasonable expression of suggestion can keep the communication going smoothly, it also reflects a person's level of knowledge about language and culture. This paper attempts to study the Chinese suggestions of Sudanese students from the perspective of pragmatics, and tries to explore their usage of this speech act, as well as the comparison with Chinese students. Considering there is no precedent studies about Sudanese students Chinese Speech Act, the article firstly gives some definitions of the it with the support of relevant theory, and then introduces some means of its expression. Finally it discusses the syntactic patterns and strategies made by Sudanese students on the basis of the collected corpus particularly, while interpreting and analyzing some social factors that may affect the realization in the Chinese suggestion.Some finds of the study show that, a clear distinction exists between Sudanese students and Chinese students on the suggestion expressions and strategies. With the improvement of Chinese level, the proportion of main sentences and strategies which used by Sudanese are becoming increasingly higher, and their language are also getting closer to Chinese students. When they are implementing the speech act of Chinese suggestion, only social power and degree of face threatening will affect the choice of strategies in the realization of the act. However, the other fact of social distance has no essential impact on the expression of suggestion. Based on the survey results. It is believed that Chinese language teaching for Sudanese students should pay more attention to textbooks, teachers and students. Only then can improve the second language learners' Chinese pragmatic competence greatly.
