The Study Of Ethnic Costume Painting In Xiangxi Area

As a minority gathering place,there are many ethnic groups in Xiangxi Hunan,such as Miao,Tujia etc,fusing together a number of national culture,which are known as the "mysterious world".In the Xiangxi region,whether the traditional costumes with rich folk customs or the unique contemporary clothing,also contain rich and unique humanistic value.Therefore,it also has created a variety of folk art,making the local folk art become nationality and regionality.Here,the industrious and brave people have accumulated plenty of wisdom in such a splendid and colorful artistic atmosphere,and constantly pursue aesthetics and quality of life with a heart of exploration.Among them,the costumes painting art of Miao and Tujia is the most typical representative,reflecting the profound ethnic traditional culture and philosophical thoughts of Miao and Tujia,also making people realize the uniqueness of dress pattern design,which can be described as the wisdom crystallization of Miao and Tujia people in Xiangxi area for thousands of years.The title of this thesis is study on the costume painting of minority nationality in Xiangxi,taking the Miao and Tujia nationality as an example,it explore the artistic features and the inheritance of the minority costume painting in Xiangxi area in detail.Based on reading a large number of literatures,the author actively consults the historical data,conducts field visit and investigation to the Xiangxi area,also combines the aesthetics,art,cultural anthropology and other related subjects,thus summarizes the formation and development of clothing painting of Tujia and Miao in Xiangxi,and finds out the corresponding expression methods and artistic features.On this basis,the aesthetic implication and aesthetic value of Xiangxi Miao and Tujia dress painting are discussed.Meanwhile,this article finds out the relationship of dress painting between Xiangxi Miao,Tujia nationality and minority.Then,in the perspective of promoting the development of ethnic minorities scientifically,this article puts forward the method for protection and inheritance of Xiangxi Miao and Tujia costume painting art,points out the inspiration and function of modern painting,so as to provide the corresponding reference and guidance for the future study of minority costume painting,and make a contribution to the development of Chinese contemporary painting.
