In history, translators were invisible. Since Cultural Turn has appeared, translators' status has been improved and no longer “invisible”, which has promoted the appearance of translators' subjectivity in the process of translation. Based on this situation, researches on translators are increasing. In addition, scholars begin to pay their attention to translators' subjectivity. With the appearance of translators' subjectivity, translators are treated as the central role in translating activities. And researches on translators' subjectivity are increasing, too.Run Away is written by a Canadian woman writer Alice Munro, whose novels are evaluated as delicate, precise and almost perfect. But academic researches on Alice Munro in China remain almost blank until 2000. The past two years has witnessed researches on Alice Munro's Run Away, which mainly focuses on the following two aspects: the narrative of Alice Munro's fictions and the feminism in Alice Munro's fictions.So far, only Li Wenjun translates Alice Munro's book Run Away and researches on Li Wenjun's translation from the perspective of translators' subjectivity remain almost blank. Based on the point that translators' subjectivity is reflected in the translation, from the perspective of translators' subjectivity, this thesis analyzes translators' subjectivity from the following four aspects with sufficient examples: the selection of the original text, the manipulation of ideology, the language processing and cultural phenomenon rendering. By comparing the original text with Li Wenjun's translation of Run Away, this thesis reaches a conclusion that in Li Wenjun's translation of Run Away, translators' subjectivity is mainly reflected in three aspects of features: the principle of domestication, that is, liberal translation should come first, the distinctive features of its words and attention to details in translation. What is more, by comparing the original text with Li Wenjun's translation of Run Away, the author makes reflections on translators' subjectivity in Li Wenjun's translation of Run Away. In author's opinion, translators' subjectivity can not be shown blindly, because there are some restrictions on translators. At the same time, Li Wenjun adopts the means of sympathy and empathy to make readers understand the translation of Run Away better.In conclusion, author points out the view that with translators' subjectivity in Li Wenjun's translation of Run Away, and it is good for cultural communication. What is more, readers can get the soul of the translation, which is the goal of every translator. In addition, the author argues that when readers read different types of translation, they had better take translators' initiative into account. Besides, they can feel and experience the differences between the original text and the translation. Fully understanding the purpose of the translator and understand how translators' subjectivity is displayed, it will further affirm the indispensable role of translations in cultural communication. What is more, the author looks forward that some readers who are interested in translating can translate Run Away with their subjectivity.
