Based on the discourse upon the development of Chinese painting under the ideological influence of western art around the 1980 s, this paper, from different levels such as style, thought, etc., describes European art thought, in particular the venation of the development of the American modernist art form and during this period the cultivation on painting personnel in the Soviet Union; especially since the 1980 s, with the rise of eastern and western Europe's economy and the advancement of globalization and informatization, the development of contemporary art has turned out to be a cultural activity that is involved in wide areas, more profound, and diverse,highlighting different artistic forms as diversification, marginalization, etc., from which provides a good opportunity for China to draw lessons after reform and opening up, and thereby the successively-generated German expressionism,surrealism, and other ideological trends of art, have had the positive impacts on China's art renaissance, and further illustrated the openness and interlink of the Chinese and western painting art. This paper has certain instructive significance on the progress and personnel cultivation of the Chinese contemporary painting art in the period of comprehensive reform and opening up and highly-developed economy.
