A Report On Interpreting The First Season Of Wild Henan

This report analyzes the author's interpreting practice of the first season of Wild Henan in terms of pre-interpreting activities and the interpreting process. It includes the collection of information, production of the glossary, making predictions, solving problems, etc.. Guided by the sense-based theory, the report tries to study the strategies of interpreting four-word phrases, cultural-loaded words and difficult sentences, with a critical review of the problems and difficulties during interpreting.The report consists of four parts. Part One gives a brief introduction to this interpreting task. Part Two deals with the preparation and the process of the interpreting. Part Three analyzes the interpreting strategies guided by the sense-based theory. The last part concludes by discussing the problems and difficulties in interpreting.In the report, the author examines the shortcomings of the interpreting practice and sets objectives for the future, with the hope of offering strategies and useful suggestions for learners of interpreting.
