This report is based on a simulated C-E consecutive interpreting for the tech leader of streaming computing from Company A at a sharing session of FFA 2019.Guided by the Triangle Model of Interpreting,the report has elaborated the problems encountered and the strategies adopted in the interpretation task.This report consists of five chapters.The first chapter is Task Description,which introduces the relevant information of the interpreting task,including background information,significance and requirements of the task,and linguistic features of the text.The second chapter is Process Description,which describes pre-interpreting preparation,on-site interpreting,and post-task summary.The third chapter is Theoretical Framework,which introduces the main contents of the Interpretive Theory,and then further explains the Triangle Model of Interpreting.The fourth chapter is Case Analysis,which discusses the influencing factors in comprehension interpreting,the strategies in de-verbalization,and the strategies in reformulation,such as cognitive complement,logic processing,omission,addition and paraphrase.The fifth chapter is Conclusion,in which the author looks back to the interpreting performance,sums up the experience,and puts forward some suggestions on the practice of Internet technology interpreting.
