The Application Of Pop Art In Modern Plane Design

Pop Art is a subject to explore the association between popular culture and arts,which converts abstract elements to representational culture media.The creation feature of Pop Art is directly borrowed from cultural symbols of the business community,and creation technique combined with new media and materials.Pop Art works are made up of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional ones,including collages,posters,illustrations,packaging,advertising,devices and interactive works.Pop Design has interdisciplinary application from graphic design to clothing,interior,landscape and products design.From the early Pop to the Post Pop era,artists continually make innovation to adapt to the development of society mainstream,which is nowadays reflected in the extensive application of modern flat design.In order to study the application of Pop Art in modern art design,especially in graphic design,the applied research method is adopted in both time and field dimensions.This paper aims to study how the emerging artistic ideas and aesthetic attitude gain recognition on cultural identity as well as commercial interests,and tries to find effective interaction of art design and social factors.
